Their inaction seems conspicuous though. But I'm not confident either. Perhaps, Trump will end up hanging himself by way of his own ego inspired ineptitude.I have no idea what the democrats are doing. I hope they do, but I'm not confident.
We keep waiting for that to happen but he's made of Teflon. He just said, on national television, that he doesn't know if he has to uphold the constitution. He can't speak in public without lying. He slept with a porn star while married and tried to cover up the hush money. He's guilty of 34 felonies. He pardoned rioters who beat up cops and sundry other felons. His son-in-law received $2 billion from the Saudis. He made his daughter in law co-chair of the RNC. Those are just the highlights.Their inaction seems conspicuous though. What does he have to do?
This. The problem is, there is a critical mass of Americans fully on board with Taco Don dragging the nation into idiocy and corruption. Are Democrats intentionally giving Trump enough rope?
To Trump's ineducable acolytes, there's no such thing as enough rope.
To sane open-minded adults beyond grade school education, he has already exceeded his rope.
His actions and idiocies have been chiseling away at his critical mass every month since his inauguration. He is racing to cash in every chip he has, as quickly as he can, because he knows his show is coming to a close. He is nearly at the end of his rope. I don't expect him to be at the helm by the midterms. Get used to saying, "President Vance". That's when the real fun will begin.This. I've been hearing about the end of Taco since the first impeachment hearing. His actions and idiocies have been chiseling away at his critical mass every month since his inauguration. What's interesting about his polling is that when he takes himself out of the picture and just lets his administration do the crazy, destructive, unconstitutional shit they do, his numbers tend to drift up. When he gets directly invovled and dominates the headlines, his numbers go down.I've been hearing about the end of Taco since the first impeachment hearing.
Remember when J6 was finally the last straw? "Americans won't stand for this!"
And then they did. Donald has the American right by their untanned balls. Short of an Act of God or a Filet o Fish going down the wrong pipe he ain't going anywhere.
Problematic for Donald. He's happy to be reviled, but is absolutely terrified at the thought of being ignored, or seeing someone else get attention. When he gets directly invovled and dominates the headlines, his numbers go down.
Ha. As Oscar Wilde (whom Trump I'm sure has never read, or probably even heard of) said, "The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.'Problematic for Donald. He's happy to be reviled, but is absolutely terrified at the thought of being ignored, or seeing someone else get attention.
I don't see him being taken down politically by the populace - certainly not by his cult. But he is in steep decline, both physically and mentally. I see him fading fast, losing it, and forcing his own party to remove him - "retire" him - maybe "25th Amendment" him - or he finding some pretext to bow out .... for "health reasons".I've been hearing about the end of Taco since the first impeachment hearing.

The real problem in American politics today is Trump's strangehold on the GOP, to the extent that no one in the party will oppose him on just about anything.
This renders Congress impotent, which is a dangerous situation with a President so willing to color outside the lines. Our system is founded on checks and balances, and one branch is AWOL. Not good.
I agree with everything but the notion of his party removing him. The party of Johnson, Cruz, Graham, Hawley, and other emasculated cucks standing up to El Taco Gordo? Not happening.I don't see him being taken down politically by the populace - certainly not by his cult. But he is in steep decline, both physically and mentally. He's a lazy escapist who'd much rather be playing golf than be bothered with complicated policy details that he could never remember, even if he did deign to read them. He will never again have the litters of adoring coprophagic puppies ready to gobble up every pile of shit he needs to excrete. Those days are over for him. His rally crowds were already ebbing down to a trickle by September of last year. He may be an idiot, but he still isn't stupid enough to vet and pay for 10,000 people to fill an arena and swoon over him, and the last thing he can tolerate is every news report on the planet - even FOX - broadcasting that there were twice as many people outside protesting him than inside mindlessly smiling at his every word. He is a baby with no tolerance for emotional pain. Zero.
His party won't keep carrying him after a catastrophic midterm election, and they are already well on their way there. If they’re smart, they will retire him before the midterms. He has already served his purpose.
You just have yet to see how bad he is going to get. A year from now he may not even be able to make any public appearance where he is allowed to speak extemporaneously. He's already at a point where he can't even remember the question he was asked, let alone answer it with any cohesion in his speech. The hideous tapestry of Trump unravels more and more, right before our eyes and ears, every single day. How long before the Emperor points and screams, "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!" at a press conference? I wish I was being hyperbolic, but I'm really not.I agree with everything but the notion of his party removing him. I think it's a fool's errand to expect a critical mass of this current batch to demonstrate anything resembling courage or integrity anytime soon. They are Trumplicking cowards first, then Republicans, and only then Americans. You just have yet to see how bad he is going to get. The very fragile Trumpty-Dumpty is losing what is left of his balance. Once he completely falls off the wall in public, all the King's horses and all the King's men won't be able to put him together again. And my prediction is that it happens before the midterm election. Enter President Vance.
Only time will tell.
