...tell me you Americans are smart enough not to pay attention to propaganda.

First example:
Iran Military Forum

When I watched for the first time, I did not see the point of the poster.
Then, it remembered me a book I read a few years ago, and that enlightened me.
That book was about German pre-war propagnda.

I don't want to compare the USA with Nazi Germany. I just want to show you how easily you could be manipulated, as the Germans were.

In the 30's, Hitler wanted to make a war in order to gain some territories. One of his goal was Poland. To justify such a war, one of his method was to convince the Germans that the Allies were a threat.

So, in books, posters, pubs...the Germans were relentlessly told that the allied had huges powerful armies, able to invade the poor Germany in a matter of days.

According to this propaganda, Belgium, my country, was supposed to own 350 long-range bombers, over 1000 ultramodern fighters and thousands of heavy tanks.

In fact, we had no bombers, 2 or 3 squadrons of outclassed fighters, 1 captured Hurricane and around 60 light tanks armed with machineguns.

But it was too late, the war was "legitimized".

Now, look at those numerous tanks and missiles Iran is supposed to own. Most of them probably come back from the war against Iraq, and many must be out of order. Excepted from the T-72, I guess none of them could damage an Abraham tank.

Anyway, do you think a T-72 in Iran could threaten the USA? No!
Would they dare to invade any country? They saw what happened in 1991 with Kuwait, they'd never do it!

Example 2:
USA Wake Up.org - Main Page

This one remembers me the "Jewish complot" of the 30's, a kind of Nazi delire about a supposed global menace that proved to be deep BS. But many Germans believed it.

Do you seriously believe Al-Quaeda would have a HQ in Denver? What would the Algerian Armed Islamic Group do in Seattle?

And...nearly all of the "infested" states are liberal...totally absurd.

I'm afraid, you did not see the point of the poster when watching the second time, too. Look at his avatar, he's a Hezbollah supporter. I have seen this avatar before at Iran Defence Net, but I can't say, if this is the same poster.

This post is not American propaganda, I don't even think, this poster is from America.

This is the same website. Here you actually have a strong propaganda element. Even the name of the web site reminds of Nazi Germany, you know, this "Deutschland, erwache" slogan. This would be not the first Islamophobic website to use fascist ideas and propaganda tricks

This is no surprise, because Islamophobe war mongers and Nazis have a lot in common.

I doubt so:
1) Why would he post on a American propaganda forum?
2) Why would he post in English?
3) Why would his adress be x@hotmail.com ?
4) Why, when I search for their supposed "stealth fighter" (shfaagh or something like that) I find only pics from the very same poster?
5) Why, when I look for pictures of their supposed Iranian-made tank I ffind only pics from the very same poster?
6) Why does the supposed Iranian stealth fighter look like a photoshopped YF-17 Kobra and their tank like a Leopard II, that they never had?

However, have a look on their forum, and the reactions of the posters (american)
-"Awesome photos,i never realized how much modern tech Ian had."
-"Any offense would be very difficult and casualties would be great"
-"would be required a massive motha****a coalition to bring Iran down, they´re most likely using the profits from oil trading to improve their military tech"
-"they have one of the most elaborate airforces in all of the middle east"
-"Hey you guys left out hezbollah, which is considered to be huge terrorist army in Iran"

Those guys have seen the pix and through anti-Iranian medias they are now convinced that they should attack it because "it is a threat", while 99% of them know very little about this country and I doubt they have any notion of geopolitics. If a invasion had to take place, that's this kind of guys who would be sent. Not the generals or the politicians that have decided the invasion and know what would result of it.

What do you reckon to their gear? Iranian military photos. [Archive] - Military Photos

He finds the public there, he is looking for.

2) Why would he post in English?
Many internet users from the Middle East use English and he posts at a forum which is in English language.

This is the internet, these hotmail addresses are available worldwide.

4) Why, when I search for their supposed "stealth fighter" (shfaagh or something like that) I find only pics from the very same poster?
A better transcription would be Saeqeh, this is the Farsi word for Thunder. This airplane exists, it has been built in Iran, but I would not call a stealth airplane. Different transcriptions are possible, an Arab could use another transription.

Try this one.
Conflict Iran: Iranian Tank Factory (upgrades)

I can't see they look this way.

These are reactions which can be expected, they are not propaganda style.

I don't read the comments this way.

OK OK I may have overdone about the site with pictures.

The Saeqeh is in fact just a F-5 with twin tails, but the pictures were not very clear and I mistook it for a YF-17 (which is an evolution of the F-5 light fighter)

And the tanks were upgraded old T-55's.

Probably I was wrong about telling this picture shows a Saeqeh.

There is an Iranian project about a warplane with stealth qualities, the plane in the picture seems to show this one, it's a a Shafag, not a Saeqeh.
