Philando Castile narrative already starting to fall apart

classic right wing support for killing people.

Yes, we support killing threats to police officers. It's looking likely this was a clean shoot. Another case of "lies preceding the truth" and the police being blamed for something that didn't happen. Your dishonest approach to the matter is hurting our country, not helping. It's almost like you want people to die.

Yes...because doing drugs and matching the description of a suspect is license for a police officer to use lethal force on a compliant black man.

Anything to distract from the real problems that are going on, eh?

The distraction is the bull**** you just posted as being anyone's position. Way to show you are an unserious debator of the issue.

racism like your just gets more people killed.

we'll start with the fact that the police have totally contradictory stories than the girlfriend and were wearing video cams which will most likely back up the cops story.

but there is also this. video Philando Castile posted on HIS OWN FACEBOOK PAGE of him and his "girlfriend" doing drugs in the car with his BABY IN THE BACK SEAT.

SHOCK VID: Look What "Innocent" Philando Castile Did to Helpless Child Before Death

the website is conservative but the video speaks for itself.

Hey, maybe this guy's story checks out he was a victim. but the more info that comes out the more it looks like Michael Brown all over again. a false narrative is used from the beginning, and when it turns out to be proven false the damage is already done.

What does the video have to do with him getting killed during a traffic stop? You're just trying to assassinate his character and argue his life didn't matter. It doesn't matter what kind of person you are; your race, if you're rich or poor, etc. a cop should have a valid reason to shoot you, and there is only one valid reason, was the officer's life in danger or not???

Not only that but they pulled him over because he matched the description of an armed robber, and if you look at the pictures, even if it wasn't him it looks just like him.

So shooting him was an honest mistake??? Again, there is only one valid reason to take a person's life during a traffic stop, and that's if he posed a threat to the officer or not. A case of mistaken identity is not an excuse.

Actually, the problem is ideology taking the place of thinking. Castile wasn't shot because he took drugs in the presence of a child. He wasn't shot because he wasn't licensed to carry a firearm. He wasn't shot because he threatened the officers with a firearm. None of this sheds the faintest light on why the officer on top of him shot him to death. If you guys employed your minds instead of the junk in your heads you might have a sensible discussion.

None of what you said speaks to ideology, and we have no idea why the officer shot this man. So what sort of 'sensible discussion' are you looking for?

I agree with you completely. But the problem is, there was a gun in the car, and Castile, according to the OP, was not licensed to carry one. So a threat to the officer existed.

We need more information, we do not KNOW why the officer shot him.

We know the claim it was a broken taillight is a lie. We know he isn't a concealed carry holder in that state, we know he had a gun in HIS LAP.

How does the absence of a license translate into a threat?

But it does. To some it speaks to a narrow conservative ideology that reacts in knee jerk fashion in defense of authority and against minority victims of authority. Much of the commentary in this Forum reflects that narrow form of conservative ideology in one way or another.

Those facts alone does not prove the officer had to use deadly force.

No it doesn't, but neither does it prove that Castile was just minding his own business and doing nothing at all wrong. Clearly, he had a weapon that he did not have a legal right to have, in his lap, during a traffic stop. Therefore, based on what we now know, there exists at least the possibility that he wasn't and the anti-cop bigots need to at least acknowledge that if they want to maintain any kind of credibility.

Your post proves how completely disconnected people like you are from reality. Sad. You leftists routinely pull silly comments like yours above, out of your butt on a daily basis.

Like I said, people like you are the problem in this country.

It's not leftists in general. ......it's him.

I must've missed the part where the penalty for doing drugs (even with a kid in the back - as vile as that is) was death without trial.

racism like your just gets more people killed.

And people like you who get all worked up within the bindings your own ignorance, but yet, still feel justified when you spew out the same ignorance while claiming to be above all others who disagree.

GIve me an example. That should be easy since you claim its so rampant.

Your facts are wrong.

Those facts alone does not prove the officer had to use deadly force.

I didn't say it did. I only said that the existence of a gun shows that there was a legitimate threat.

Your facts are wrong.

Not according to every single source I've seen. Or are they wrong because they make you unhappy?
