Sea Kitten Facts
Some sea kittens tend well-kept gardens. They encourage the growth of tasty algae and weed out the types that they don't like. It is particularly tragic when people eat these sea kittens, as their precious little gardens become wild and overgrown in their absence.
People don't seem to like fish. They're slithery and slimy, and they have eyes on either side of their pointy little heads—which is weird, to say the least. Plus, the small ones nibble at your feet when you're swimming, and the big ones—well, the big ones will bite your face off if Jaws is anything to go by.
Of course, if you look at it another way, what all this really means is that fish need to fire their PR guy—stat. Whoever was in charge of creating a positive image for fish needs to go right back to working on the Britney Spears account and leave our scaly little friends alone. You've done enough damage, buddy. We've got it from here. And we're going to start by retiring the old name for good. When your name can also be used as a verb that means driving a hook through your head, it's time for a serious image makeover. And who could possibly want to put a hook through a sea kitten?
Zomg an issue here in this forum.. we can all agree on?
The world must be near the end!
I have to wonder about people who spend inordinant amounts of time on this forum, and whose contribution largely consists of "Who cares about this?" and "This is a lame non-issue".
Eh? I was agreeing with you... this is preposterous!
That's not even creative! We already have Catfish, which are extraordinarily tasty by the way.
I think this one is better
PETA Urges Ben & Jerry's To Use Human Milk - News Story - WPTZ Plattsburgh
Headline: "PETA Urges Ben and Jerrys to Use Human Milk"
Jesus, I wish PETA wouldn't tempt them. :doh
Ben and Jerry might just take them up on it.
Ben Cohen is the founder of MoveOn.org.
Huh?
MoveOn.org was founded by Joan Blades and Wes Boyd..
Are you sure? i'll be damned.
I could've sworn I read he was either a founder or cofounder.
How is he involved, then? Just a contributer?
Maybe he's just a contributor.
Ah. Now I see:
"TrueMajority was founded by Ben Cohen, Co-founder, Ben and Jerry's. It is a grassroots education and advocacy joint project of UsAction and UsAction ..."
TrueMajority.org
I had MoveOn.org mixed up with TrueMajority.org.
Dammit - it's 29° and you guys just made me walk to the gas station and get some ben & jerry's
Oh I see. I didn't know that. I know his Ice Cream is fantastic.
Oops, sorry! :doh
I read your post wrong.
There has been a lot of that sort of thing going on lately; I guess I'm just getting oversensitive about it.
It's like, if you don't think the goddamn thread topic is relevant, just ignore it, for chrissake.
Again, sorry. I misread. :2wave:
You are forgiven. I don't waste many keystrokes if I find a topic... silly, and I occassionally delve into sarcasm to make a point instead of some long block of words.
No, I was rushing out the door to go see a movie. My bad.
When we got to the movie, it was so crowded, the line was so long, that we immediately left.
But I should still take the time to read things carefully before responding. Especially before chewing somebody a new asshole.
