Before anyone starts to crow about a racist, right-wing nut losing — just a head's up that the politician that won, Pedro Castillo, is also completely whack.

Peruvians never had a choice. This election was just a ultimate fail all the way around.

Three times loser Corruption Princess Keiko Fujimori ran to release her father from jail. I guess that will have to wait. She can lose again next election.

The risk with Pedro Castillo is his inexperience. He was a dark horse candidate who got famous during the Teacher Strikes a couple of years ago. In winter no observers thought he'd be one of the main candidates, and here he is the next President of Peru.

When it comes to losers of elections not conceding. We will see more of that. Trump's refusal to concede kind of showed you don't lose anything of not conceding, and actually you'd lose more if you concede.
