I included President & Parliament elections for non-Americans like myself (I voted by mail in our Oct. 9 President election).

Please also post your voting experience below ... was it smooth, or were there lines etc. ?
 
I voted by mail for the Austrian Presidential election on Oct. 9th - which the incumbent center-left President won with 57% (but I voted for a more leftist, younger candidate):

Voting by mail is smooth in Austria and non-controversial, unlike in the US.

For in-person voting, there were no lines, people waited no longer than 1 minute to vote.

My ballot was mailed to me last week and to every eligible voter in Colorado. I filled it out at home, sealed it, signed it and dropped it in a box a few miles from my home in the parking lot of a police station.

Easy peasy. Colorado voting laws rock!
 
Yes and a great way to ensure no lines or wait times for those who may choose to vote in person. Voting laws like Colorado's make it easy and safe to vote no matter your preference.....as it should be.
 

Already voted by mail which has been great in PA. Been doing it a few years now and i haven't had any issues.

when i used to vote in person it never took me longer than 10 mins max
 

They do. And not one gun carrying fool watching the drop box I use..
 
My family voted by mail, but,,,,,just got a questionable letter regarding my son's vote, and his signature being unverifiable. So, I'm not sure if it is a scam or what seeing Arizonan is getting quite the voter suppression reputation this year. It's suspicious.

Has anyone gotten this letter as of yet? It wants him to call or send a photo of his ID. Wouldn't they have it on record through the state?

I've always voted by mail and never have received a letter like this.
 

Is the letter actually from the state? We're not in AZ, but my daughter had this happen last election.
 
I'd google the phone number and see what comes up. I did a quick search about AZ signature verification, I found a 20-page PDF about it. Oy.

I actually enjoy going to the polling station and seeing the same usual poll workers and razzing them. Great people!

Will vote by mail, ballot is sitting here I just havent mailed it in yet.
When voting in person I never have had any issues with waiting, it takes a few minutes tops. But I still prefer mail.

My ballot is already filled out. I like to go to the polls on election day, but I'm prepared to drop off or mail in if need be.

My "member title" is the answer.

Almost no American citizen at least 18 years old has an excuse for not voting. My signature says it all.
 
I might vote for a particular amendment or something but never for a person. You all are perpetuating a corrupt system. Plus I'm lazy.
 
We're voting early in person because the mail in options have been changed to make them unavailable to us.

I received my mail in ballot and put in the drop box in the Courthouse early voting site. There was a good turnout.
