Agreed. But the Sarah Clark post here - which is fifth, not second (sorry) - is remarkable.

She got pregnant at 13, clearly from rape. She continued the pregnancy and sought to be a "good mom" thanks to all the pro-life propaganda and claims. She mothered a problem child in her mid-teens, clawed her way back, through school and training, to get work allowing a useful, respectable career that could provide for her and her child. But when the son was 17, he was mentally ill and she had done all she could for him, as her insurance wouldn't pay for him to be in a proper facility, which cost $100,000, and the government wouldn't, either.

The only way she could get help from CPS, Child Protective Services, in Michigan were the only people she could turn to for further help for her mentally ill 17 year old son, was to perform an act of refusing to let him into their home. Then, she was charged with child abuse as a negligent parent, so the state would pay for the facility. having her refuse to let him into their home. Then, because she was a negligent parent charged with child abuse, CPS could get the state to pay for the facility.

She had to become a registered child abuser for 10 years in order not to neglect her son's mental health needs. Thus, she also had to give up her reputation as a good parent, her school-related career and income, and even the chance to do other good things for her kid. CPS knew it was wrong, but they couldn't get help for the kid any other way. Pro-lifers had never bothered to fix the state government so parents of mentally ill kids could get proper help with medical expenses.

This woman couldn't bear the idea that other women would have the same level of problems she had in her life. Hence, she became pro-choice, understanding that she should never have trusted the pro-life people.

Pro-lifers don't just exploit the feelings of girls and women who abort. They even exploit pro-life girls and women so much that this one came over to the other side.
