Former Sen. David Perdue (R-Ga.) filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) indicating he is exploring a 2022 Senate run. Perdue, who lost his seat to Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.) in the last election, filed FEC documents to designate a “principal campaign committee” for “Perdue for Senate,” signaling a possible run against Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.). Warnock defeated Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-Ga.) in the same set of runoffs that sent Ossoff to the Senate, but will be up for reelection in 2022 because he is filling the remainder of former Sen. Johnny Isakson's (R-Ga.) term.

This rich and corrupt Trump guy is going to try it again.

Perdue had a knack of buying and selling stocks with insider info he learned in classified Senate briefings.

Is it too much to hope that in a highly purple (really pink) state like Georgia we could get a GOP candidate who (a) is not corrupt, and (b) is not interested in the divisive/cultish politics of Trump? Maybe Raffensberger should run.

Why is that such a bad thing?

Hell, Warner, Feinstein, Burr...a LOT of Congressmen...have done the same thing. Even Nancy's husband. Nobody cares.

Don't get me wrong...I don't support Perdue. Hell, I don't even know him and I don't live in GA so I don't care about him. I'm just addressing your own hypocrisy.

So you hold Democrats accused of insider trading to a lesser standard then?
Interesting. 🤨

Just have to say . . .

"That's a great avatar!" (y)

It's a coin flip which is the more corrupt, Perdue or Loeffler.
