Children have almost zero risk from covid, so there is no reason to get them vaccinated against it. If you're worried about your kids getting covid and passing it on to you, the vaccines still won't help with that.

Letting Covid run rampant in children, who engage is the high risk activity of schooling, is just asking for a strain which kills more of them.

And don't bother with the "viruses always become less lethal" because it's just a weak effect, where respiratory viruses are concerned. Perhaps the chance of a variant being LESS lethal is two or three times that of a variant becoming MORE lethal, but the latter is not impossible.

A vaccine will confer protection and likely skip all those potential problems while waiting for natural immunity to kick in. Vaccines trigger an immune response without all the issues of an actual infection. The immune system does not know the difference between a live virus or a vaccine. But it responds the same way.

Covid infections have been shown to cause negative long term effects, such as heart and lung problems. And yes, we know how mRNA vaccines work. Geez, just do a simple Google search. Billions of vaccine doses have been administered globally and there are few serious health issues reported.
