More than once rumors have been borne out in a short span of time. Esper seems to be at odds with the White House. The confirmed Sec of Veterans Affairs, Wilkie is the leading contender for the SecDef job if Esper is released. Odd timing if this story has any merit.

Anyway, this is nothing more than the usual unnamed sources saying stuff. Heck, they even have unnamed sources saying the opposite of their other unnamed sources. LOL!!

Two senior administration officials said there are no current plans for Esper to be removed before the election.

"There are no plans to replace Secretary Esper," one of the officials said.

So yeah...this is NBC making **** up.

In accord with the Constitution and the UCMJ the armed forces will not obey an illegal or immoral order.

As chairman JCS Gen. Milley said to the House Armed Services Committee the week before last, "I will not obey an illegal order."

If Trump continues as Potus Esper is a goner for telling Trump the Insurrection Act does not apply to the current and ongoing urban unrest. Trump knows VA Sec Robert Wilkie elevated to SecDef will say the Act applies anytime Trump wants it to apply, whatever the circumstance, the place, the events, the circumstance, the situation.

Esper the USMA grad will not obey an illegal order either. Milley and Esper are tight in their dedication to the Constitution and their oath, Milley being of Princeton Rotc where the 17th chairman of JCS Adm. Mike Mullen the Navy former CNO is a professor of international security studies.

The bottom line anyway is that Trump will be removed as Potus in one Constitutional way or the other, as Esper well knows as do Gen. Milley and Adm Mullen among a hundred other generals and admirals active duty and retired to include Gen. Mattis and Gen. Kelly.

When Trump said that he was going to drain the swamp, it included the pentagon. Lots of crooks in the pentagon don't like trump. The military-industrial complex is to be feared!
