Pence stunt costs US big bucks

'Dreamers' and 'law and order' might be worthy of Presidential attention. All this obsession with grandstanding athletes is so out-of-place that it's obviously intended to be a deflection, a smoke screen.

Then your objection is merely a matter of taste or political preference, and not principle.

Keep running from your own words. I expect nothing less.

Not name-calling. I just don't believe anyone could be -- and that includes you. It's a backhanded compliment...of sorts.

You can't be moronic enough to believe this gibberish.

Act IV--after your dishonesty is exposed, accuse your opponent of running away. Of course, that is really just an extension of Act 2 so I suppose that this post of yours is really Act 2, scene 2

You don't care about any of this? The stunt by Pence, the waste of time and money is fine with you?
Maybe it all is entirely appropriate, if that's the typical reation of a large number of Americans.

It is all just fine with me. The usual practice of politics.

And yet you cannot cite any dishonesty from me here. Again, to claim I've lied is to lie.

You're running from the fact that your claim about liberals applies to republicans and conservatives. For whatever reason, you seem to lack the emotional maturity to accept that simple fact.

Oh, well.

Stressing the point that what these very well-paid kneeling athletes had done, is a disgraceful act of disrespect and insult not only to the symbol of the country but also for the people who died fighting for it!

It's money well-spent!

Sorry, but the story has disappeared from the news, and your attempt to tie me to Trump is just a sad example of dishonesty.

You and I seem to live in two very very different realities as this story is very much still in play. As for dishonesty - bah humbug. Do you deny you defend Trump here frequently and like to spar with those who criticize him?

Why can't Pence and Trump save their personal statements until they are not working as so many suggest about the players?

Absolutely....he can go anywhere he wants...but when he pulls a political stunt at the expense of taxpayers...he can also be called out for it....he's not free from the consequences of his actions.

You may not know this but Mike Pence is from Indiana. His going to Indianapolis shouldn't be such a big deal. Now I understand that the left needs something to whine about... Go ahead. Is there anything, and I mean anything that you all can do about it?

I never defend Trump.

Act 3--realizing that his trolling has failed, the angry, dishonest villain lashes out one last time before slithering back beneath the rock from whence he came. The End.

Sounds like you have the makings of a great play here. Perhaps that great liberal hero and champion of women, Harvey Weinstein, can produce it for you.

They're leaders of the nation. That's the difference.

This hero-worship of players is so pathetic - what, how many among them even entered College?

Again, you cannot cite any dishonesty on my part, and by insisting that I've been dishonest, you're forced to lie. It's not surprising, given that it's all I've ever seen you do, but it does get rather tedious.

Why do you support Harvey Weinstein and his mistreatment of women?

Whereas those players - what, how many among them even entered College?

Really? In my value system - the right of both are the same.

Who's talking about rights. No one's denying them their rights.
What about the rights of those who paid to watch sports, and wouldn't want any political statement?
These players are swell-headed! They forget what they're paid to do!

There's a proper place for everything. If they want to protest right at that rime - then, they should walk out and do their kneeling elsewhere! Goodness.....all these drama!
