The FBI nor the DHS issued a report to Trump or anyone else of the threats. The warnings came from NYC FBI that "scour the bowels of the internet" for suspected threats. It is believed they are the ones that contacted those at the Capitol. Trump administration offered Mayor Bowser the National Guard to assist the DC police because of the size of crowd that was expected and because in the past the DC police have been put through hell because of the large number of BLM/Antifa persons that gathered on a regular basis protesting Trump and it always ended violently with the police and secret service attacked violently. She declined the offer.

During the Republican convention there was a gathering at the WH . When they left the festivities they were met with the same bunch of anti Trump bullies/instigators being harassers and just hoping that someone would take the bait.
There was a rally in DC 2020 that ended up having Trump supporters being attacked by these same leftist groups while they tried to grab a bite to eat in an outside dining area. These bastards were throwing commercial size fireworks at them while they were trying to eat with their CHILDREN! There were a massive number of videos posted on social media showing these leftist groups bullying people with children along with others trying to incite violence. When nightfall came, the Trump supporters were long gone, the BLM/Antifa/Black Bloc group and the Proud Boys were left and it got violent. There were 4 stabbings that night. One for sure was a Proud Boy. Knowing the possibility with a massive number of people coming to Washington Trump offered Bowser the National Guard. She declined his offer.
