[W:#995]Pelosi banned from receiving communion in San Francisco archdiocese over her position on abortion

Pelosi is the one who keeps talking about abortion publicly, forcing access for all women,
"Forcing access for all women." Literally all that's required is to leave them alone. It takes force to stop them from having an abortion.
and apparently believes it's okay to make a mockery out of the Catholic Church's guidance from the Pontifical Council for the Family.
The Pontifical Council likens abortion to murder.
The Pope explicitly said not to deny Communion to pro-choice politicians. So you apparently believe it's OK to make a mockery of your god's earthly ambassador.
Finally, we have found an Archbishop who talks the talk, and walks the walk. He gave her a choice. Let's see if her faith means more than her politics. If the former does, and she stops saying abortion is okay, she can again receive communion and be in good standing with the church.
I get the impression that there are a disturbingly large number of Christians who would be happy to see most other Christians abandon their religion and burn in hell for all eternity. It's basically the right-wing equivalent of mean-spirited wokeness, and it's gross.

If you believe that you can sit in moral judgment of others, you're being prideful, which is a sin in your religion.

So are they also condemning at the adulterers, all those who choose to have sex before marriage and all those who use contraception? I bet it would be a pretty empty church.
They probably would if all those people announced their activities publicly.

Since the Catholic Church wants to get into politics, its time to make them pay taxes like everyone else.
The scam is over.
Give to Ceasar what is ceaser

Not everyone leads a public life. Apparently, politicians are elected to represent "the People" so they should put aside their own personal biases and beliefs in order to do what's right for the greater good.

What, on earth, do you even mean by posting such an incoherent accusation? How does one "force" a right to be left alone from RWE authoritarian lawmakers and the prosecutors they empower?

Then how can you expect the church to take action if they don’t know their congregation is acting contrary to its teachings?
