We voted in my town following social distancing and it was the largest turnout in the towns history. Somehow we were able to do it. Are people in your town too dumb to vote in civilized manner?

they've known for a while that if more people can easily vote, they are more likely to lose. for example, if they restrict early voting and polling places and that results in long lines, that's essentially a poll tax for lower income workers who might vote Democratic. however, Redmap did change a lot.

He also said that the same people who are at risk and unable to do their own grocery shopping should be able to vote by mail. long lines didn't start this year. however, this year, long lines are more likely to kill you. and yes, if you're an hourly worker who has trouble getting a day off anyway, long lines are a poll tax. it is a solvable problem that some don't want solved.
