Patty Wetterling To Drop Out Of Minnesota Senate Race

In what is probably the tightest of the 2006 U.S. Senate races, it looks like Patty Wetterling will drop out, leaving Hennepin County Attorney Amy Klobuchar as the choice for Democrats. I think that this is for the best (if you're a Democrat, that is.) It solves two problems: first, it all but ensures that there will not be an expensive primary campaign. Klobuchar can now concentrate on defeating Republican Mark Kennedy. Also, the Dems now have a good candidate to run for the 6th CD against Republican Michelle Bachmann or Phil Krinkie.

What I would like to know is if any of the candidates will support the vampire if he is elected governor? :mrgreen:
