I just finished watching both episodes on the path on TIVO. Some comments:
Considering the 8 year time frame the movie encompassed, I thought it was very well constructed artistically and dramatically. Clinton may be upset because it focused so heavily on his administration... but he was president for 7 of the 8 years between the first and final attack on the WTC. Suck it up.
There were really only 2 "heroes" in the movie, FBI agent John O'Neill and "the Lion of Afghanistan", leader of the Northern Armies. (Won't try to spell his name). His death was in many ways more poignant (dramatically speaking) than the 9/11 attacks.
Patricia Heaton's small role was blown out of proportion during the media hype, to get the TV watching audience. Of course, the NPR crowd boycotted the movie anyway.
Neither Bush nor Clinton come off as heroes, but as I said the majority of the movie focues on Clinton's failings.
Anyone agree or disagree?
