Seems that Pat Robertson has predicted mass killings in the uSA near the end of 2007

I have watched Pat Robertson for years off and on, and he has never impressed me deeply. when he says that God told him, that there will be mass killings in the United States, I was not surprised. We have thousands of people killed each year, Drive Bys, mass murderers, plane crashes, auto crashes, and The Military.

I don't believe that Pat Robertson has suddenly become a prophet. We could easily have terrorist attack, Bush has been predicting this for years. And he has spent years now creating Moslem enemies. Could Bush have given Pat Robertson some insider information? We have more serious enemies now than when the war in Iraq started.

If we have terrorist attack inside the USA, will it happen because bush wants it to happen in order to prove his superiority over the Democrats? I have nothing against Pat Robertson.

I think that Bush and Cheney are just using the poor old fellow and threatening us, so they can maybe win the election in 2008. If an attack does come, we need to be sure and blame it on Bush, and the Neo Cons, for allowing it to happen.

I watch Pat sometimes on t.v. sometimes, and he may be getting senile. he seems to have hard time thinking at times. could he be having hallucinations??? Lord I hope not. I believe that Pat means well.

I've always viewed Pat Robertson as a bit of a senile, crazy old man. Even when he wasn't that old. :2razz:

I doubt that he really knows all that much. The chances of him somehow learning of a terrorist plot from inside sources is probably pretty small. My guess is he just thinks we're "due", if you'll excuse the phrasing, up for another one.

And Bush will probably have nothing to do with it. The man isn't the brightest bulb in the box but he's not evil. There are plenty of crazed terrorists out there that will want to blow us up without any help from him.

And if ANYONE even mentions Loose Change, I'll be forced to smack you.

Pat makes these great predictions every year. You see, God talks to him and tells him what he is planning. Then the faithful can pray real hard and God will change his mind so that the bad things won't happen. Last year Pat predicted a big Tsunami would wipe out the United States. I tell you, I prayed every day that God would be merciful, and HE LISTENED. NO TSUNAMI. So this year, pray that Abdul can't get a passport, or the bomb blows up in his garage, or whatever. Ask and you shall receive.

If you believe Pat Robertson can predict the future then your just plain dumb.

I think that you should not believe statements from anyone that is currently alive and aging, and that he or she can predict the future or predictions of events in the future.

Some quotes from a bible about this:).

KJV bible Jeremiah 14 said:
13 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not see the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.

14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

15 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

Sorry, I guess my sarcasm was a bit too subtle.;)

I don't know him. I had never heard about this guy!

It's a kind of modern nostradamus?

Or a kind of Pythia? (you know, the woman in Delphes (Greece) who lived in a cave and told Oracles: she has often predicted the future: she told Oedipe he would kill his dad and **** his mum, she told a General "a great army will get a great victory" (unluckily she was talking about the other army :D )...*)

* in fact there was a source of gaz in that cave, so she was crazy and what she said was b.s. most of the times  **

** and when she was true, it was chance!

Strange, then Robertson must believe that the troops in Iraq aren't preventing a Terrorist attack on US soil. And yet he wants our Armed Forces to be across the sea instead of here to prevent it. Sounds whack and unlogical.

In May, Robertson said God told him that storms and possibly a tsunami were to crash into America's coastline in 2006. Even though the U.S. was not hit with a tsunami, Robertson on Tuesday cited last spring's heavy rains and flooding in New England as partly fulfilling the prediction.

In 2005, Robertson predicted that Bush would have victory after victory in his second term. He said Social Security reform proposals would be approved and Bush would nominate conservative judges to federal courts.

Lawmakers confirmed Bush's 2005 nominations of John Roberts and Samuel Alito to the Supreme Court. But the president's Social Security initiative was stalled by widespread opposition.
Wow. Anyone can predict such "unknown" and unpredictable things--lol.

Robertson said God also told him that the U.S. only feigns friendship with Israel and that U.S. policies are pushing Israel toward "national suicide."
And I'm told by some DP posters that certain Christian denominations with millions of followers who can sway the vote don't push Israel agenda? BS.

Keep in mind that we're talking about the same man who peddles a magic fruit drink which he claims allows him and his doctor to benchpress over 2,000 lbs. :rofl
