A Utah parent has filed a request to ban God’s most popular blog, the Bible, from schools, citing and ridiculing a law passed last year that removed dozens of books from schools and libraries last year. “Get this PORN out of our schools!” they wrote in their request for the removal of the book.
In 2022, Utah passed a law banning books with “pornographic or indecent” content. The initial list of banned books included many titles that feature coming-of-age stories that also deal with themes of sexuality and gender, including Judy Blume’s Forever..., Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe, and Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult.

Utah is banning books. Some liberals want to get even by trying to get the Bible banned.

Considering God is a mass murder in the opening book, wiping out thousands of Egyptians to protect a nomadic people stupid enough to wander into the Red Sea.....

Yeah, that's pornographic. The book, in essence, celebrates racial violence, revenge, superstition and magic.

Ban it!
 
This whole issue is so stupid. Literally every single time we take an issue and turn it into a culture war political baseball bat, everyone loses all perspective and a LOT of innocent people get victimized. This time its school librarians and kids.
 
Parents ought to do this in eevery state where such a law is passed. The Bible has everything in it that these laws were passed to remove from libraries and schools excepting maybe the gay issue.
 
The bible is a sick book full of violence that zealots have been using to justify war for centuries.
 
Be careful of the laws you pass. They tend to ban things you never intended. If books with sex scenes are to be banned, well then the Bible is banned.
