I bet that title got your attention. Now pakistan collapsing in 14 years may sound far fetched but this country is dealing with serious problems. It's economy is lagging and freedom of expression exists but the government does an abyssmal job at protecting it. Meanwhile, india is getting ready to drastically increase its livisng standards much like china did back in the 90s. India is now where china was in the 80s. Since the 90s, india and pakistan have developed relations (though kashmir remained a heavily disputed area) and since then, tensions have cooled down; even if both countries developed nuclear weapons. Pakistan is dealing with serious terrorism from the taliban in the tribal areas (white region bordering afghanistan):
