I’ve lived with the new format for a while.
There used to be page information/tools at both the top and bottom of each page of a thread.
Now the page information is only at the bottom of the page.
When looking at the first page of a thread for the first time, and at the first post, I have no idea how far the thread has already progressed.
Can the thread page information be replaced at the top of each page?

Also, when I hit return on my iPhone to start another line, the first letter does not default to Caps.
i have to hit return twice or manually engage Caps for the first letter.
can this be fixed?

If there's no page information at the top of the page it means the thread is less than twenty-six posts long.
 
The page information doesn't show at the top on mobile devices. However if you turn your phone, it shows up in landscape mode.

Most annoying to me is if I click a thread listed on "new posts" for the first time on my phone, it does not resort to last post like it used to. So, I sometimes find myself responding to posts from weeks ago without knowing it.

If you saw my desperate one hand portrait swipe typing, you would understand my complete failure at two handed landscape typing.
