The Saud isn't worried about ISIS.....they got a fence.
The Saud is only concerned about Syria being given to the Sunni to run and govern.....and of course subjugation of All Shia.
If they achieve Nuke capability, other ME countries will/would also acquire the bomb. Saudi’s would buy it from Pakistan. And the world can do what?
Correct- Pakistan is a mess. The world won't do anything about that because the Saudis are an Ally. A blind eye will be turned just like it is to their well documented disgusting Human Rights abuses.
My Country does not possess nuclear weapons. I remain amazed that more people aren't concerned about Pakistan and their nuclear capability. Approx 6 years ago a U.S. Congressional investigation predicted a nuclear or biological attack by the end of 2013, with a strong likelihood that it would originate in Pakistan. Fortunately, to date that has not eventuated.
Just over 12 months ago, Gen. Kidwai, (the man in charge of the entity responsible for Pakistans arsenal), resigned after 14 years. They have never joined the NPT and their current stockpile of nuclear weapons is growing and related facilities has to be considered at risk given the presence of Al Qaeda operatives in Pakistan and the country’s problematic security system. Added to that you have internal instability and differing political views.
All you hear is crickets. It's only all about Iran.

Given the history between the 2, no.
Given that Libya gave up nukes- no
They will want security guarantees.
I don't know. My impression has been that the US would have been quite accommodating had Iran opened up to the world after having ceased their terrorist activities and weapons programs that are destabilizing the area.
Never heard of it before today.
Thanks
Hard to stay on top of all security fences- patrols etc. I am sure a lot of planning went into this.NP JF. :2wave: You didn't think the left would be up on much when it comes to where the Big Boys play now.....did you? Other than a few.....its par for the course.

Are Israeli companies going to build the great Saudi Wall? – Jewish Business News
Well that is true.....must be real difficult for them, even to be slightly in the knowing.
Play nice now. The difference I see are sanction passed, and placed on hold pending the end state of negotiations in July. I see that as a spit in their face.
The US did not release a hell of a lot of Iranian assets prior to or just after negotiations began.
Their economy is bankrupted. While their currency has risen, if talks fail, and newer sanctions imposed, which i would agree with, their economy will fall again.
Some say let the people rise up.
Truth be told, when the Shah was facing massive demonstrations, they did not let the Military attack the demonstrators using massive lethal force.
These Mullahs / Revolutionary Guards would not hesitate to use as much lethal force as needed. As they would fall from power and a new Govt would be in place.
Then the trials of those in power would begin.
If no deal by end July that is 100 % verifiable, the P+ 5 should walk. Impose massive sanctions. And wait.
Do you support an attack on Iran if the talks fail?
Former adviser warns Obama on Iran.....
Former Obama adviser Dennis Ross has been outspoken over the last year or so in urging the administration to use leverage against Iran to reach a deal on nuclear weapons that would be acceptable to the West. When the president in his State of the Union address instead threatened once again to veto sanctions, it reminded us that the administration is ignoring all outside advice and living in its own parallel universe in which reconciliation with Iran is viable.
In an event hosted by the pro-Israel group JINSA this past week, Ross virtually pleaded with the administration to stop chasing a deal. “The question is: what happens over the next few months to get a deal? It’s pretty clear at this point that the Iranians don’t feel much need to conclude an agreement, even though the P5+1 has demonstrated an awful lot of flexibility,” he cautioned. “Therefore, it’s important Iran not believe that we want an agreement more than they do. […] We can’t get a long-term deal unless we raise the price to Iran of refusing it.....snip~

Ross now joins the like of Gates and Panetta. What say ye?
Not by us.....but if the Israelis make the jump. Then I am all for we Ride Shotgun.
Israel cannot do it.
Saudi's will overlook 1 perhaps to fly thru of their airspace. but not more.
From what I understand the AF MOP may not destroy the complex.
Then you have Arak, the heavy water plant.
Bombing that would release repatriation on a widespread area would it not?
Or are you all in- Water - power- and other Military facilities?
And why would the Saudi's not be in as well?

The Saud is in. Plus the Israelis would have to put some teams on the ground at Arak. Do you think they could be given cover by their friends? Should it get to that point?
Israel is working on coordinating plans for a possible military strike with Saudi Arabia, with Riyadh prepared to provide tactical support to Jerusalem, a British newspaper reported early Sunday. The two countries have both united in worry that the West may come to terms with Iran, easing sanctions and allowing the Islamic Republic to continue its nuclear program.
According to the Sunday Times, Riyadh has agreed to let Israel use its airspace in a military strike on Iran and cooperate over the use of rescue helicopters, tanker planes and drones.

And the Iranian Military would be doing what?
Well, What could they do if Israel and its Friends all showed up at the same time?
Once again we have a lame duck president chasing a deal on a limited time table.....
A timetable Iran likely as their last, best hope.
I would love to negotiate with this guy. He's an open book, just figure out what is his domestic agenda and proceed from there.
By friends I assume you are including Saudi air and land assets on the ground?
None of this hiding away as they are doing according to the new account. Time for them to man up is what i would say.
Then we would also have another war on the Lebanese-Israeli border with Hezbollah- reason their air assets, limited assets can only do so much.
As Hezbollah would be letting the rockets fly.
So after that - What about Arak?
What about the Brits and the US, that would also be in on the Assist. That's with the Saud too. Now what can the Iranians do.....when the whip is cracked.
Are you stating, Brits, Saudi, US, Israel all with assets on the ground?
Then what about the rest of the facilities in particular Arak.
Then the aftermath?
I think this needs a thread of its own? Your opinion is?
No the only one that would need assets on the ground are the Israelis. The rest would provide cover and keep the Skies and Iranian approchment cleared. In and out.
Then the next move is on the Iranians.....which they can't afford to make a mistake then.
So take out Fordow and wait?
Who knows.....then again the US just might give the Israelis a gift that will penetrate the Iranians alleged hardened defense.
