Forming a new state from part of another state is specifically discouraged (prohibited?) by the Constitution (while secession is not even mentioned), yet West Virginia was formed from part of Virginia.

West Virginia refused to secede when Virginia did. That area of Virginia did not have an agrarian, slave based economy and saw no reason to fight for one.

Then you are going to see many red states turn blue.

You are going to see many red states lose seats in the House because people have left the state for blue states.

You are going to see the blue states have more seats in the House because they have gained the populations that have left the red states.

You are going to see business leave red states and it will be impossible to convince them to come there.

You are going to see huge losses in state and federal tax dollars resulting in red states becoming even more of a garbage dump then they already are.

No, the change will come from within the States. Not the largely rural, poorer States but States like Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, PA, Georgia even Florida. States with large cities, universities and an educated populace. A woman's right to choose is a position held by a majority of Americans and a huge majority of women. We have seen what women can do when they come together politically.

Power closer to the people is generally a good thing as is personal freedom. The States will decide the laws but the populace will decide the law makers.

Do you really believe that women and sane men are going to want to live in a hell hole that forces women and girls to give birth to rapist's and pedophile's children?

Do you really believe that business is going to be able to recruit people to go to states that they have no personal freedom and liberty?

Do you honestly believe that women want to die because her pregnancy went wrong? Women aren't even going to take the chance.

You really aren't seeing this clearly.

Yes people are going to be moving to pro choice states. California and New York aren't the only pro choice states.

You are going to see red states losing population because of this. They will lose seats in the congress, they will lose all the federal tax dollars that goes with it too.

You also will never see an anti choice president elected again which means a republican will not be president for a very long time.

Everyone is pro life.

More than half the country is pro choice. It's not even close.

A solid 80% of the nation doesn't want Roe V. Wade overturned.

I absolutely agree that attracting good jobs to States that have strict abortion laws will be a chalenge to those States. However, I don't think you will see much migration from State to State over this but what you will see is a movement from red to blue within the State. Not the ruby red rural States but in those very important swing States.

The anti choices aren't pro life.

They love death and killing people.

These are the same people who love semi automatic weapons. They love giving weapons to criminals to be able to murder people. They fight to prevent laws to keep weapons out of the hands of criminals and mentally unstable people.

These are the same people who refused to wear a mask, who refused to social distance who refuse to vaccinate resulting in nearly a million people in the US to die from covid.

These people are anti women, anti life, anti freedom, anti liberty and anti constitution.

They love death and killing so much that they have turned the United States in to a place where people get murdered in church. Where children get mowed down and murdered in school. Where no one is safe even in a movie theater or mall.

They love death and killing so much they demanded to be able to infect more people with covid so they will die. Resulting in nearly one million Americans dead from the virus.
