This is how I see the plan unfolding on January 6th and the preparation for January 6th.
1. Naming of alternative electors for Trump from the swing states.
2. A full scale attack on the Capital on January 6th to force the counting of electoral votes to stop nd attempting to get Pence removed from the capital.
3. Removing Pence from the building by using those in the Secret Service still loyal to Trump.
4. Chuck Grassley would then take over the counting of electoral votes as the next in line. In another OP on this message board there is a copy of a twitter from Grassley stating he would be in charge of the voting as Pence would have left the building. That message was posted on January 5th as part of the plan. Grassley would then bring up the "alternative slate" of electors and determine that the House would have to convene to decide which slate was the true representatives of the 6 states in question.
5. The House would then convene and either decide to choose the Trump electors or throw out both leaving the remaining vote count in favor of Trump.

Either way, the Trump coup would have been successful, but for Pence refusing to enter the car sent for him by the Secret Service to get him out of the way. Pence, ever loyal to Trump before this, ended up being the one to end the attempted coup. It is funny how things turn out and how close we came to ending our democracy on January 6th.

Pelosi was in charge of #5.

What makes you think she'd go along with this?

I would not be surprised if a Trump supporter dug up some obscure procedural finagle thinking that it would help them circumvent Pelosi. The whole GOP plan basically seems to be a version of "let's throw shit at the wall and see what sticks".

If it got that far, the Constitution would require the House to vote.
