Out of the headlines, Flint’s water still unsafe – Workers World

Great job Rick Snyder /s

In a typical Republican move, Snyder cut funding for public services in order to pay for his tax cuts for the rich and wealthy. That left the public utilities used by 99 percent of the population in disrepair to the point where the water is literally toxic and undrinkable. The fact the it was people of color who would be most affected probably made Snyder even happier.

Even to this day, despite platitudes by the republican government of Michigan to "fix the problem," Flint's water is still undrinkable polluted, and the residents of Flint are still suffering because of trickle down economics.

Great job Democrats who ran Flint into the ground to beggin with. How many emergency managers has Flint had over the years ?

Democrats mismanaged that City into receivership, bankrupted it by spending money they didn't have while driving away their tax base.

They did the same thing to Detroit which has been run by corrupt Democrats for decades

Glad you were able to get the "trickle down" talking point into your nonsense before you wound up the post. Wouldn't it make more sense to complain to the state government in Michigan rather than to us? None of us have the power to fix the water problem there. The people who live in Flint should do something about it instead of waiting for someone else to bail them out.
