Our New VP says there will be a war in the near future. Over water. WTF?

When Arizona shows up with trucks full of pipe I will be the first out there locked and loaded to protect our lakes...

Ya. That's gonna happen.

People have used the word "war" to express a conflict other than a physical military involvement.
- Have you ever heard someone say there is a "bidding war" going on for houses.

Water is critical for life. We need to protect and improve our water storage and how we use water.

Cool thing is, if you are correct then we have nothing to worry about and if not we can't do anything about it anyway.

Ask the folks in the western states if water is important. Have you seen the latest levels of lake meade?

Ya. That's gonna happen.

They have been talking about it for many years.

That is why all the great Lakes states and Canadian provinces have signed onto the great Lakes pact protecting them from one state or another selling off our water...

Maybe we should deploy the Army Rangers to guard our lakes and reservoirs then, huh?

And increasing environmental protections on water above and below ground, particularly wetlands rather than reducing them like Republicans want...

No, not just the Army Rangers, the whole damn Army! This is serious!

The water crisis is quite real. Did you not know this? Or are you just trying your best to find anything to launch pathetic partisan attacks against Harris on?

I fully expect we will have some rather nasty resource wars (the iraq invasion bush jr rendered over oil is an example) in the future as the climate gets worse.

What is going to be worse is when the mass migration starts

Haven't you noticed, Republicans HATE black people in the WHITEhouse.

Well once the slaves were done building it anyway....

And those of us who live in the great Lakes states.

Trump went so far as to approve a pipeline directly on top of North a Americas largest aquifer...
We have to plan ahead...
Ever wonder when they will decide to drain your lake down the Mississippi so it can be siphoned off to Texas and Arizona and New Mexico to keep the golf courses green? I've read that the Colorado River downstream of the Grand Canyon has been entirely drained and only a dry bed crosses the Mexican border.

So, you actually think this country will be involved in a war over water in the "near future"?

It never ceases to amaze me how far into goofy land liberals will go.

Making fun of Harris is one thing, but it's actually terrifying to think this person could actually be POTUS.

I haven't researched Joe's SECDEF choice much. Damn, I hope he has a bit of common sense.

They tried at one time to connect the brule,( known as the river of presidents since at least sevenhave fished it and one had a summer Whitehouse on it) to the upper StCroix so water would flow out of Lake superior south into the Mississipp and South.
One of the president's ( I would have to look up who) put a stop to it...

O

Your comments just keep proving me 100% right about what I say about specifically Trump supporters. Please keep posting, I love being proven right.

lol
Well there already have been wars over water, so she's already right.
And yes, we do need to think about infrastructure around water, it's going to be very important rather quickly.

I guess Grandpappy has never seen Chinatown, or read anything about William Mullholland? The battle over water-particularly in the west, is not exactly a new thing.

So, what do you find of this to be uniformed? Or are you talking about your own scary ignorance?
