The man's a massively petty, and bitter idiot. The problem is when you have someone of low character like him at the highest office in the land and surrounded by sycophants who are happy to do his bidding. I think governors in various states need to start ramping up legal defenses and counters to this nonsense.

It sounds like your wife is a teacher. I've spoken before about how many in my family are involved in trucking. Overweight and poorly maintained trucks with teams of drivers who really don't know how to drive, don't follow the laws and drive beyond their allowed hours are giant death traps.

Yes well the last election wasn't decided by that criteria. It was decided by inflation, jobs, illegal immigration and crime.

Noting that isn't dehumanizing. Ignoring it is dehumanizing to Americans who want to earn a living.
 

The Bush's had loads of major critics back in the day and never resorted to such rhetoric.
We may not have liked the policies of the Bush's but we at least respected their adherence to civil discourse and the rule of law.

Trump is gaslighting. His cult votes based on what the demagogue Trump tells them is happening even though they don’t see it at all. They aren’t even in the cities that Trump is lying about. They can’t possibly see it happening. They are all hiding in their basements in small rural towns going online and getting right wing propaganda and Trump’s lies. They only see how pathetic their own lives are and need something to blame. Trump tells them to blame people in cities that they have never seen or been to. He tells them what to think about his political enemies. They have no clue about what is really happening in the country outside of their own Trumpian bubble.

There's a vast, vast diffence between the parties now and the parties back then.

Trump supporters don’t experience what he tells them about cities they never even visit, let alone live in. People fall for Trump’s propaganda and don’t have any direct evidence in their lives to support his lies. This has nothing at all to do with what they watch on television. They get Trump’s message somehow, don’t they? How do they do that? Trump tells them about some boogeymen in other places that are the cause of their own problems where they live.

Yes. Democrats talk a good game about a living wage but then demand a permanent underclass via continual low skill, low wage, illegal immigrant employment. You can also see that illegal immigrant has destroyed unions and pushed out high wage works in fields like construction, trucking and more.

What an oddball. So I'll take it the answer is most likely "no" and you're assuming you know what's going on because of the very same pundits you mentioned before. One can discuss their experiences without doxxing themselves, which is not what I asked for at all. For example, I am a native New Yorker who grew up in the city at a time when crime was far, far worse than it is today. Much of what gets described on some news networks as to the condition of the city is hyperbole, and I know this because I travel into the city during the week for work, and on weekends to hang out every so often. If I were to believe what Fox News and OANN were saying, I'd think it was a hell hole filled with crime, but since I don't experience those conditions, I know their descriptions are for their audience who don't have direct experience with conditions on the ground.

Your eyes and ears don’t see anything at all in the area where you live. You obviously take your cue from Trump and probably from some garbage websites and social media. This is a different era and a radically different GOP. We have a 4Chan presidency, where essentially the dregs of the internet are now in positions of power exercising their grievances against those who slighted them. These are not serious people, nor do they even have an ideology that drives them. It's apparent in their rhetoric and their actions. The main question is how far off the rails they're going to go, and it seems Donnie Boy is looking to pull a Thelma and Louise style ending.
 
Anyone living in a major city would never say things are idyllic because cities are rough and tumble places with the issues you have when millions of people are sharing limited space and resources. However, the idiocy coming out of Donnie Boy is a piss take and only works on the folks who have no context and can only rely on what they read and hear.

What seems clearer to me is Donnie Boy's pissed his party was upstaged and everyone went to the other one. It's clear as day because his post was vitriolic and that's the indicator it's not about serious issues, but about his ego.
 

His followers don’t live in big cities. They take their cue from Trump about what happens in big cities. His followers seem to live on the internet and have no idea what happens in the physical world outside of that bubble. They never experience anything at all in reality.
