fter Hillary Clinton’s big victory in South Carolina, Bernie Sanders says the race is “just beginning.” Sorry, Bernie, it isn’t. After Sanders’s victory in New Hampshire, the familiar dream of the American left of a spontaneous, grass roots uprising against injustice and power took shape again. But the notion that Clinton was in any real danger was always bunk.

For Sanders, a walking cartoon of socialism, or someone like him to prevail, the Democrats would have to be as divided as the Republicans. That’s not happening. As the Wall Street Journal editorial page recently pointed out, the Democrats want to win and are not about to unleash their “inner socialist” this year. The Journal’s addendum to this, of course, is that the GOP, in succumbing to the charms, such as they are, of Donald Trump, is following a diametrically opposed course.

By focusing on the white vote, he can drive up his numbers, attempting to compensate for Clinton’s advantage with minorities. The aim would be to peel off enough white votes to disrupt the coalition that Obama assembled to cruise to victory in 2008 and 2012.

According to Carter and Grim, “The Rust Belt is disproportionately white. While there are pockets of color—in Philadelphia, Flint, Detroit, Milwaukee—the states are much whiter than the national average. America is 62 percent white, according to census data. Michigan, by contrast, is over 75 percent white, and Pennsylvania's population is more than 77 percent white.

In the 2016 General Election, Trump may get the Working White Vote, at a rate of 80%+, the same kind of Rates seen by Black Voters turning out for Democrats...

But Blacks are just 14% of the population, so even with Voter Fraud, they are a small Bloc, compared to the 58% of the overall population represented by Working Whites!

Is the topic here white paranoia? If you want a serious debate bring serious evidence of the great damage that is purposely being done to white males that is in vast disproportion to any other group. So that means not just bring right wing editorials that feed your paranoia. If white males are suffering look no further than the powerful white CEO's who had no problem outsourcing the jobs they used to have. And look no further than Republican politicians who aided and abetted in that. The rich white don't give a damn about the poor whites. Never have, never will. Take your case to them and see how far you get.

I agree with this. And to take it further, you have a significant amount of poor whites who are thoroughly convinced that their problems are caused by minorities, who they are convinced are lazy and live off of welfare paid for by white men. And some of them think that a clown like Donald Trump cares about them, and will "save" them from a mythical oppression the minorities are supposedly doing to them. Coincidentally I'm sure, this all started when Obama was elected, and apparently the savior Donald Trump is supposed to save them. It may seem like a parody, but take five minutes to visit any right wing blog and you will see that a significant portion do view Trump as their "hope" to restore whatever they hell they believe needs to be "restored".

As Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders vie to create the broad coalition of voters needed to win their party's nomination, one bloc's influence could be overlooked in the diverse Democratic electorate: white men.

Clinton has lost the white male vote to Sanders in all but three states -- and by double digits in Ohio on Tuesday, where those voters are crucial to victory in November.

Exit polls in Ohio indicate part of the reason for Clinton's failure is messaging, and part is the outsized role Republican front-runner Donald Trump is having in open primary states.

Clinton fares well among registered Democrats of either gender. But she does not do nearly as well among independents. Those independent voters can pick which primary they want to vote in, and turnout numbers show many of them voted on the Republican side this year.

It's also worth factoring in the obvious: white, blue-collar "Reagan Democrats" are called something else now -- Republicans. And many of them are being aggressively courted by Trump, who has given voice to the frustration many working class white Americans feel about the direction the country is headed.

Indeed, turnout numbers have shown the inverse of 2008. That year, independent voters flocked to the Democratic primary, having developed strong feelings about Clinton and Obama. This year, they are voting in the Trump-dominated GOP primary in record numbers.

While Trump and Sanders have virtually nothing in common in style, they do have two important traits in common that could explain why they are outperforming Clinton with white men. Trump and Sanders are seen by voters as outsiders storming the political establishment and they both vehemently oppose free trade deals they say have cost American jobs.

Having a friend or extended family member become homeless purely because a government program purged the Working White Male head of household from his career, not because of anything the worker has done wrong, but purely to achieve anti-White racial quotas, is not going to go unnoticed!

The impact of these actions is far, far larger than the number of Working Whites ousted from their careers.

In New Mexico, in 2016, under the Anti-White discrimination of the Obama Democratic Party, it is very hard to be a Working White Male...

But I have the support of my Hispanic Wife and Two Grown Daughters, and the solace of my five+ grandchildren!

We are poor, but proud, hard working, and unlike the Democrats, we are NOT racists, but promote a Race-Neutral, merit based society!

Great strength can be found in moral clarity.
