The Republicans must be concerned about something being uncovered and/or discovered within the Deutsche Bank records. This financial institution has already paid a 425 MILLION dollar fine for Russian money laundering.

Mueller has not confirmed such efforts are underway. This is already being looked at by Mueller's team. Why do we have to spend more money duplicating efforts??
It remains to be seen what would be revealed in Trumps financial records. Trump isn't going to be indicted for money laundering, I can tell you that right now.
Proving Trump knowingly allowed people to use his real estate to launder money is almost impossible. However, if Mueller decides to start indicting Russian nationals that used Trumps hotels for money laundering, that would damn near ruin Trump financially.
I think that's what concerns Trump the most in this investigation. Well, that, and the fact that his finances being made public would reveal he's nowhere near being a billionaire.
I don't think there's anything between Putin and Trump that's explicit. What will be exposed by Mueller is the deep and long ties of Trump to Russian money. And regardless if that results in a conviction for financial crimes, once it comes out it will provide the motive for his currying favor with the Russians and why he has been so timid to Putin reacting more like his house pet than a president of our nation.

Does anyone else wonder why Trump sees Mueller's examining his finances as a "violation"? A violation of what, exactly? In a recent interview with the Times, reporters asked whether it would cross a line for Mueller to examine his personal finances. Trump said it would, calling it a "violation."
Trump has made it clear that he objects to Mueller, congressional investigators or banking regulators looking into his personal finances and loans.
Deutsche Bank isn't Trump's only lender. His most recent financial disclosure includes 16 liabilities, from Royal Bank America to Merrill Lynch. His debts total hundreds of millions.
But Deutsche Bank is particularly problematic because it's so often in legal trouble. Since 2015, the bank has stacked up more than $9.2 billion in fines, penalties and settlements, according to monitoring by the Capital Performance Group. If Trump owes the bank a great deal of money, the question might arise: Would his administration back off tough regulatory enforcement so that the president can get better personal lending terms from Deutsche Bank?

If someone wants to investigate, let them spend their own money. Not the tax payers.

The House and Senate intelligence committees have already shown how partisan they are (both sides), so I don't trust them one damn bit. Also the fact that Trump basically threatened to fire Mueller if Mueller tried to look into ties with Trump and the Deutsche bank with Trumps comments saying Mueller would have crossed a "red line".
I'd say the Dems would have standing for opening such an investigation if Trump fires Mueller and it is let known that Mueller was investigating ties to the Deutsche Bank. I think they should let this go for now, but if Trump fires Mueller damn straight they should investigate.
