Mehdi Hasan: On Wiretaps and Drone Strikes, It's Time for Liberals to Accept That Obama Is Worse Than Bush

You know you're a partisan hack when you're more partisan than the Huffpo.

dont see why its a partisan issue, everyone should be outraged from wiretaps, notonly outrages when its the oposing party doing it but ignoring it when your party does it.

of course many used the nsa spying on obama in 04 as justification of the nsa,but who the heck cares if its the nsa or the irs attacking liberals or conservatives,it should be everyone outraged.infact when the irs scandal first came out, every liberal i knew except the die hard party shills were outraged,

There's no shortage of people defending the Obama Administration over these issues.

Another lying conservative editorial. First there is no NSA wiretapping scandal. Those were court approved wiretaps. See how the ‘editorials’ use the cons lack of knowledge and/or inabiltity to think for themselves to fool them. You simply cannot compare Bush’s illegal massive domestic spying network to President Obama’s court approved wiretaps. The ‘editorial’ is clearly lying when it gives the impression that President Obama didn’t end ‘illegal wiretaps’.

And nobody is spying on James rosen. Another falsehood that easily fools the cons. James Rosen is being investigated for giving out info on the source of his story on N Korea. Now we can give cons credit, be it the treasonous outing of Valerie Plaume or leaking info about the source of intel on N Korea, cons don’t seem to care about national security.

Therefore according to you the Snowden "spying" accusations are a farce, since the NSA supposedly has not spied on Americans. While spying on James Rosen and his family has nothing to do with the NSA. It's all about false warrants issued to the DOJ to spy upon Rosen, his family and Fox News.

Of course not just like there was no shortage of bush supporters defending the same thing when he was president. Partisan hackery doesn't just occur on one side.

Just as the right wasn't upset with bush (they elected him a second term) there are those on the left that will defend Obama.

Is it right? Of course not. but that is the extent of the many problems of this country. Both sides don't think "their" side is the problem.

What president passed the Patriot Act? Come on, let's say it together: B-U-S-H.

So now conservatives, who supported the Patriot Act to a man, and even called those who opposed it (like Democrat Russ Feingold) soft on terrorists, are crying crocodile tears because it's being used?

More dishonesty from conservatives. It's endless.

I never implied that other parties are any better when it comes to partisanship. That's a strawman.

Nonetheless, glaring examples of hyperpartisanship should be criticized.

Definitely not Obama is surrounded by right-wingers who are influencing his decision George bush was highly corrupt. He said much non-sense in his interviews spreading fear. Do not like Obama but would say he is the lesser of two evils :peace

There are people who would swear fealty to Obama, even if held at gunpoint. It's like a cult.
