no I haven't seen what you wrote on the South China sea/Spratley's..got a link?Hey buddy, you've no doubt seen my position on China as related to the Spratly's. As to Clinton, I agree and am hoping for someone to derail her. Although, I'm not interested in another corporatist in the WH. But can we really expect to avoid that, whether it's a republican or a democrat next?
The Financial Sector is already Regulated. O'malley's just trying to gin up the kook base who blame Wall Street on the 2008 Financial collapse.

Yes there isn't any avoidance of 'corporatist" -I was thinking of Hillary's love for the Trans Pacific PArtnership/
I don't like it, I don't think we need it -bilateral agreement s can be worked out, and I really
don't want a bunch of corporate attys. suing sovereign states over perceived lost profits.
O'Malley is against the TPP also.
LOL.
I can't get anything past you...this one is kina important to me, I want A.B.C. = Anybody But Hillary.
Plus I think O'Malley is just a new type of politician. There hasn't really been anyone since Harry Truman
who didn't completely pass the buck ( "The Buck Stops Here "- on Truman's Desk)..
At least it's something different......something old that could be something new again
This is good news for republicans. it won't be a simple primary for democrats. they are going to have to show how radical left they are to win the nomination and the
more bad publicity they have to beat each other up over the better off it will be.
the more that jump into the democratic primary the better off the republicans will be. since to win the democratic primary they are going to have to go so far left that
they will not be able to pull back to the middle.
Lol. In the meantime, the whole Republican Party is running for president. :lamo
I'm sure Republican Senators are thrilled with what Rand Paul did tonight also.
Since so many of my GOP friends seem to post more about candidates running against Hillary than they do about their 19 clowns.
More important though is his ideas of metrics - accountability and follow up -set goals, and make adjustments as needed to succeed.

Count me as one of the kooks because the big banks were partly responsible for their own demise. Granted DC was also a big player, but lets not pretend here. I think it's great to be honest that Hillary gets more competition from Dems. The 19 or 20 republicans are going to tear each other apart, and we need that on the other side if this is going to work. Hillary needs a good portion of those kooks you refer too, and I'd say it's about half of the dem electorate right now, she can't move away from it, and that's a good thing.
Tim-
Iowa Poll shows big Clinton lead, but also some worriesVermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has replaced fellow populist Elizabeth Warren, a senator from Massachusetts, as the leading contender to Clinton among Iowa Democrats, the poll finds. Sixteen percent of likely Democratic caucusgoers say Sanders would be their first choice for president. That's up from 5% in the January poll.
I would rather have a diverse group of people than 1 really bad candidate such as Hillary.
"Recently, the CEO of Goldman Saches let his employees know that he'd be just fine with either Bush or Clinton. I bet he would," O'Malley said. "Well, I've got news for the bullies of Wall Street: The presidency is not a crown to be passed back and forth by you between two royal families. It is a sacred trust to be earned from the people of the United States, and exercised on behalf of the people of the United States."
Wow....Attacking Big banks and ignoring the real " criminals " ? That's so original coming from a Democrat.
“The hard truth of our shared reality is this: Unemployment in many American cities and in many small towns across the United States is higher now than it was eight years ago. Conditions of extreme and growing poverty create conditions for extreme violence. We have work to do.”
Lol.....I bet his plan is going to have something to do with " stimulus to increase aggregate demand" and THIS
" He said he thinks the country should broaden its view of which workers qualify for overtime pay and make it easier for workers to unionize and bargain for better wages.
He pointed to paid leave and affordable childcare as key to improving the economy, and said he believes it is an economic imperative to create a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants. "
As Governor, he increased sales taxes, income taxes on high-income earners and created new taxes on services. He also raised the gas tax for the first time in more than two decades and increased the corporate tax rate. Don't let this guy anywhere near the White House.
I wonder if he's planning to turn down Wall Street money?
