OK is OK. Who needs the Dept of Education? States can clearly handle this on their own. Nobody listens to national standards anyway. Especially Blue states.

You realize he is the OK Superintendent of Schools, right? What state did you get your education in?
 
there are a LOT of small minds in education...
 
If they have bibles in class, cue the lawsuits and another issue of separation of church and state going before the courts. It seems some have a difficult time with that concept.
 
Oklahoma is at the bottom of the rankings on most education metrics. They want the title dumbest asses and they are on their way.

It’s another of their not so subtle ways to get educated people to leave their state.
I’m amused at OK Sen. Mullin asking for the Gaetz-gate report, as a whitewash.

Oklahoma contributes less than 1% in federal tax revenue yet it receives 2.2% of the Department of Education's budget. I think it's time that their federal education funding be slashed to something more equitable.
