Glad your feeling better ole man, didn’t think a bout of Pneumonia would keep you down after all of them years of Navy Chow.
 
You know, when NP wasn't here for a few days and I was concerned that something happened to him, it got me thinking. This is going to sound morbid, but what if a regular DP poster got into a car accident or something, was severely injured, and couldn't post for a while...or ever. How would we know? It's a little distressing to consider that people, who may only be usernames on a screen, but who we form relationships with could disappear without a trace and no one would ever know what happened to them.

Just something I was wondering about.

Back in May he got into a major snit about something very trivial and something he was completely wrong about, and wouldn't let it go. He and I had a PM conversation about it, and he said a few very out of line things, which I called him on, pointedly. He hasn't been here since, though I have seen him at other forums.

Billo was OK and a friend of mine, until the end. As of this moment, I miss the old Billo, but the one that left can stay where ever he is.
 

Yup. I think about that from time to time as well. I have some PM relationships on this message board, and have PMed people from time to time to make sure they're okay. It's always a relief when I hear back from them.
 

Maybe you ought to start getting the pneumonia shot. I think it's usually for people over 60, but if you've gotten pneumonia seems like you need to start getting it now.

That is a good idea Marilyn...........Thanks I am getting better.......My doctor said it could be 2 to 4 weeks before I completely recover.......

Though I am loathe to touch one of your posts after having the pleasure of being free from their utter uselessness for so long, I would be remiss in my duties if I didn't remind you that there is a specific forum in the Basement which is designated for these types of posts. But alas, I drew the short straw this week and it's my responsibility to flush behind you and Volker.

Welcome back. Clean up behind yourself. And no, you and Volker cannot share a bunk; there are limits, even in the Basement, to how far out of the natural order you can behave.
