So then what you are saying is that calling it entertainment is just an excuse so he can get away with calling Obama's America "Planet of the Apes"? Also true, happened about 2 weeks ago, the Fox news transcript however completely omits him calling it that gee I wonder why....

I've never watched his show, have only seen a clip on 20/20 a few years ago.
He's obnoxious because people watch and talk about it.

Be more specific, because I have access to every minute of every show he's done on Fox for the last 6 months. So make your charge (or should I say slime) against him, and I'll link you to what he actually said, including the context.

Exactly the point of snazzy marketing.
You say something that might be considered a race based pejorative, gets people all riled up either defending him or attacking him.

Either way, he gets paid $$$ because all of you pay him a lot more attention than he deserves.

There are no actual transcripts. Fox news took that segment of his show and made a story of it on their website. They omitted much of his sarcasm because it was irrelevant to the point he was making.

For purely educational purposes (in my quest to make sense of how the liberal mind works), tell me exactly why you believe, they omitted the "planet of the apes" comment?

Like I stated previously, that was a story about his segment, not transcripts. As for mentioning Andy Stern, here is what he actually said on the show:

Special interest! What planet have I landed on? Did I slip through a worm hole in the middle of the night and this looks like America? It's like the damn Planet of the Apes. Nothing makes sense! The guy who's helped destroy all these pensions, Andy Stern, he is now on the financial oversight committee. Is this who we want to take advice from? The unions who have collapsed all of the businesses, who have collapsed all of their pensions, they are bankrupting everything they touch and we go to them and we say, yes, tell me, what should we do? It's like any marital tips from Tiger Woods.​

I feel like I have to explain the obvious to you like you were an elementary school student, rather than an adult. So here is the explanation in terms even a child could grasp.

In the movie "Planet of the Apes", the planet looked just like earth, except apes ruled the planet and humans were treated like animals. In other words, he was saying that this looks like America, but nothing makes sense, just like in the movie "Planet of the Apes."

His comment had absolutely NOTHING to do with race, and only a dishonest liberal liar would try and claim otherwise. So are you ready to admit you were mistaken, or are you in fact nothing but a partisan liberal liar?

Seriously you think that this is supposed to be more than a transcript from his show? What the hell is it then? Also if it wasn't that big of a deal to Fox then why didn't they keep it in there? Can you just answer me that question other than it was supposed to be a summary of the subject, because a summary of the subject could have been a hell of a lot better written than oh I dunno a transcript of a show.

It's really simple.... Transcripts are titled "Transcripts", and that was not titled as such. It was a story... accept it and move on to your next attack.

Now how about you either retract your "planet of the apes" was racism assertion, or like most folks on the left, stand by your lie? What's it going to be?

So other than what was omitted and edited from the original aired show then, what would you call it?

Do you or have you watched his show more than once or twice? Transcripts don't take into account context, sarcasm or comedy.

So then they can completely omit total parts of what he actually said then? Also yes I have watched his show completely on several occasions, including when he was on CNN and doing the whole "9/11 was planned by the government" bit because that was the fringe fad at the time, but I will admit usually I just watch bits and pieces but I definately seen this the day it aired a week or two ago, and it is obviously on the internet as well.

As anyone who pays careful attention to Beck knows, denigrating the opposition's character is part of the playbook the Progressives use to silence opposition.

What I'm wondering is what did some people do in college when it's clear they didn't learn the first things about the reality of political power struggles and how middle class intelligentsia always fare when the socialist-inspired struggle for power is won and the dictator for life emerges.

The middle class intelligensia is sent to the concentration camps, they're stripped of their property, they're villified, and they're DEAD.

Germany, Soviet Union, China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Cuba, Zimbabwe, etc.

Jeez, you'd think the people bragging about their diplomas would have read the history of the world. It's way different than what Mel Brooks made it out to be. And it's far deadlier.

A college degree can be important. If the mind in the skull isn't functioning properly, the peice of paper they got may as well have come on a four-inch wide roll with embossed flowers.
