Ocasio-Cortez vs. Trump, and the Winner Is? - Rasmussen Reports®

Though just one-in-three voters have a favorable opinion of freshman Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, if she were old enough to run for president in 2020, she’d give President Trump a run for his money.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that, if the 2020 presidential race was between Trump and Ocasio-Cortez, 43% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for Trump, while 40% would vote for Ocasio-Cortez. A sizable 17% are undecided.

Questions - Ocasio-Cortez - January 10 and 13, 2019 - Rasmussen Reports®

All though she didn't win it, she took a serious percentage. 43% Trump. 40% AOC.
So there you have it. A generation raised to feel they will never have anything and will have to rely on others to support them.

AOC says and supports the things that most democrats are smart enough not to say in public:

A socialist welfare state with open borders.

You are amazed that in the face of rising right-wing populism left-wing populism rises to counter it?

Trump would struggle against a sack of potatoes. Trump would lose to anyone who is not as hated as Hillary.

It would just be another **** choice. Flip a coin, ****ed either way. She's as drama heavy as Trump, I think they may actually make a good pair. Just throw twitts (lol) against each other endlessly.

This wasn't meant to be a TDS roll call. Control yourself.

The thread is about a poll between AOC and Trump. My point is that Trump would struggle against anyone because he's a very unpopular president.

But maybe you should try and control your obsession with AOC. I know she's young and pretty with a nice figure but maybe you need to find something else to think about.

She is not even the first left wing populist. Sanders predated her for example. Sanders is in fact the left wing version of Trump: kinda insane, enough is never enough, takes ok ideas and takes them way too far, and their followers will never be swayed by reason or logic.
