Well I went through my library and even used a number of search engines on the internet, couldn't find any red and blue silhouettes of a moose used by the Bull Moose Party during the early twentieth Century.

The oldest red and blue moose I found was from 2008, probably created by a Sarah Palin supporter. She seemed to have adopted it.

The question poweRob, why would you want to get mixed up with a bunch of radical leftist who are hiding behind the progressive label ? These extremest are already embarrassed that they took the progressive label to hide behind without researching who the American progressives were. They were nationalist socialist. Their image was dirtied by Germany's Nationalist Socialist Party aka Nazis.


But I'm sure Teddy Roosevelt has all ready rolled over in his grave when radical socialist have hijacked the American progressive movement and even tried to claim him as one of them. Teddy was a nationalist and despised internationalist socialist who refer to Americans as hyphenated-Americans.

I think the vandelism on the Lincoln Memorial was some sort of statement against the 50th anniversary of MLK's march on Washington. It was the act of a coward.
