There is no doubt in my mind, Obama will be the guy.

Reason: The overwhelming majority of Americans are anti-war. He is the only candidate that is clearly anti-war. All the politicians that are pro-war, are losing their jobs. One only has to look at the mid-terms to realize this. Anyone who is pro-war in the upcoming elections, doesn't have a chance in hell to win. Just look at McCain's numbers dropping like a rock.

Pro-war = un-employment

Sorry my friend Huseein Obama will not carry one red state......

I think 99% of all Americans including me are anti war but it is another matter as to how many Americans want to "Cut and Run" in Iraq.........

Why do you think the gutless democrats are having succh a hard time coming to and agreement on the issue...........

I dont understand how you see the democrats as any more or less brave than the republicans They just send the troops to fight.

Is george bush brave? even in political terms i think its a bold move for obama to be the only anti war candidate.

I cant vote on the us elections however i would be inclined to vote for obama at the moment though it did kinda worry me that black sepretist thread that was posted.

Nope won't happen. As much as people like to think we as a nation have gotten past the race issues we have not. It won't happen. He will never carry any red state won't even come close. You will have every "hillbillies" that never voted out at the polls to prevent it.

No offense meant to any "hillbillies" that may be here.

Who really knows how Hussein Obama would have voted in 2002......He wasn't in the senate where most dems voted for the war....

Hey I am one of those "Country Boys" and I take no offense...............Hussein Obama being black has nothing to do with me not voting for him though...........

whats wrong Navy dont know Obama's first name? Or, are you purposely trying to be derogatory in some manner by trying to link him with Sadaam Hussein. I dont recall him doing anything to warrent such? Do you?

Harold Ford Jr. Nearly lost by a small margin despite your" hillbillies" coming out to vote. I have a sneaking suspicion that Obama if he did run would win some very interesting States that no one would think possible.

Hey I love "country boys" something very sexy about a man on a horse. ;)

I really don't think so. Not only because of the race issues but also because he as no track record, I can't see people voting someone who is so "new" to politics to the most important position in the land.

You also said the Republicans would keep both the Senate and the House. You are not very good at predictions. That is what happens when you base your preditions on nothing but emotion. Without something more objective, they are meaningless.

Because they are gutless Democrats.

I was wrong on that but I was right in 2000, 2002, and 2004........Win some lose some my left wing friend........

Bet you picked Gore and Kerry too......

Exactly, the question has to be aked Do you want a wet behind the ears guys with little or no experience as your Commander in Chief at the most critical time in our nations history........The answer is "Hell No."

He has a decent chance at rallying youth voters from their drunken college parties to vote for him.

Man, exactly! I wish you would cut out the other **** and instead just focused on this. This is all you need, he's not qualified for the job, he will do a shitty job, and he will do a shitty job because he's not qualified!

He's not a black separatist, he's not an al Qaeda plant, he's just plain and simple mother****ing unqualified.

Of course it's interesting that the same person who thinks Obama is unqualified also thinks Condi is more than qualified. Why is that I wonder? Could it have anything to do with the fact that they are from different parties? Nahhhh....

There is a reason that Condi is not running for president. That is a fair point, she isn't qualified, nor is Obama, nor was George W. Bush. The last 8 years should be proof enough of the importance of experience.

Oh, I don't know. Wasn't Reagan rather unqualified? People seem to love him though.

What determines if one is qualified for the presidency??

Just a certain amount of years in government?? Or does it hold better sway that one work in the executive branch of politics rather than the legislative??

Personally, I like Obama's lack of time in Washington, as it means he's had less time to be corrupted. Unfortunantly he is too left for me to consider voting for.
