Not surprised by the fact he doesn't have a plan but surprised that he announced it to the world in such blatant terms. That's what people that hate us will remember not the fact the WH came back later clarified. How could he be so careless considering that ISIS has threatened to put their flag over the White House.
This is what we are fighting and it is evil. Let's not equivocate. ISIS terrorists film mass execution of 250 Syrian soldiers after forcing them to march through desert in their underwear - NY Daily News
Evening ML. You are correct. Bad choice of words by BO peep. Naturally this is the nice way to put it so that the Bo Bots don't implode. Just sayin!
As the President, would any of you trust Bachmann or Gohmert types with any intel?
They and their GOP "warhawks" like McCain/Ayotte/Graham have proven time and again
that they will repeat intel while blasting the President on the World stage giving Putin-types comfort .
We don’t have a strategy,’ Obama says after ISIS death march video surfaces......
You can do better than bringing up the golf myth again. What a crock. All presidents need some down time. He's wired in 24/7 anyway.
Heya Nimby. :2wave: Well since they are not the Chairs on Intel.....are you saying that Feinstein is wrong to tell BO. You best stay in touch and notify people ahead of time on things you plan to do and not after the fact.
Out of the last 10 years? We were in Iraq from 2003 to 2011. How did that help us? Why should we go right back in where we left off? How long do you want us there? 20? 30 years?
You know, I haven't heard jack **** from any of you regarding what YOU would actually do. We're focusing on air strikes and paramilitary raids, we don't need ground forces. The Iraqi and Syrian people have to decide for themselves that they don't want to tolerate extremism, we can't force it on them, we've tried.
We're using air strikes and not committing ground troops. How is that not a plan? Are you denying there are air strikes? I could understand you not liking the plan, but claiming there isn't one is ignoring reality.
I haven't heard jack **** from any of you regarding what YOU would actually do.
So just deflections to Feinstein, who I trust as far as I can throw Limbaugh.
Rogers is a chair and a regular on FOX with his "chess to marbles" nonsense.
Congress said no to bombing Syria.
Yet your team on FOX/Krauthammer wants multiple wars in Ukraine and Iraq/Syria.
Do you support boots on the ground, against the vast majority of American's wishes, both GOPs and Dems ?
We know what he right-wingers here will do, there're doing it, Criticize Obama regardless of what he does.
I am glad to see someone who thinks before he acts, unlike Dubya.
Well, whats your excuse for MSDNC and ABC and CBS criticizing Bo Peeps words? Or did you want to try and say they are Right Wingers?
Myself, I am glad to see how the left uninformed always remains the same.
Pretty much any time I tune into right wing media or listen to their minions.Have you actually heard of anyone who "hates" Obama?
hate
verb (used with object).
1. to dislike intensely or passionately; feel extreme aversion for or extreme hostility toward; detest.

Your attempted strawman would seem to be an attempt to deflect from clearly observable fact. In any case, any sympathy should be directed at the haters since they are the ones with the shortcomings in the human development department. This would seem an attempt to garner sympathy for the poor guy.
But Obama has often been announcing military plans. He has given dates when he would withdraw troops from both Iraq and Afghanistan, or example.
I just googled 'Obama limited air strikes' and got these results. https://www.google.ca/webhp?sourcei...-8#q=obama+limited+airstrikes&spell=1&tbm=nws
Perhaps these incoherent messages are designed to confuse the enemy but they are confusing any remaining Allies and the American people as well.
Not completely correct seeing that he has not only continued but expanded some misguided policies from the previous administration (Afghan war, drone strikes), but staying on topic the recent uprisings throughout the Middle East have been a long time coming (like since the Balkanization of the Ottoman empire), and mostly precipitated by the Bush/Cheney overthrow of Saddam Hussein.Ya, you are right. He hasn't done anything to put the US and world into the current situation it is in. /s
Of course I said that ONLY the right-wingers criticize Obama.
You are the one that ASSUMED more than what was posted. Then you back-handedly say that I'm the one who's uninformed. You should be :3oops:.
The fact is that there isn't anything the U.S. and it's allies can do to effectively put an end to ISIS short of an all out invasion of Syria and a reoccupation of Iraq. Even then, like Al Qaeda, it's unlikely they will ever really be defeated. The removal of Saddam Hussein was one of the worst foreign policy/military decisions in this country's history and now we're going to have to pay the price for it. The only question the Obama administration needs to decide is how high that price will be. If there is no strategy yet it's because it hasn't been decided who will share in that burden with us and how.
No one could have predicted that ISIS would gain the traction it has and no one could have predicted that the Iraqi army would hand over vast swaths of their country without a fight. For example, no one foresaw 30,000 heavily armed and American trained Iraqi troops abandoning their posts and weaponry then fleeing from only 500 lightly armed terrorists on the outskirts of Mosul. There is only one possible even remotely effective course of action which I noted above and I'm glad we have a President who is going to think long and hard about it this time around instead of throwing resources and lives away without a plan. What we don't need is more war hawk knee-jerk reactionism.
Obama under fire for admitting no 'strategy yet' for ISIS in Syria | Fox News
Is anyone surprised? This is what you get when you put a completely unqualified community organized in office as president.
In fact what you are saying runs contrary to what Obama said. Who should we believe?
Thankfully the President has gotten rid of Bush's boy Maliki, who started this crap with the way he treated the Sunnis.Heya Napolean. :2wave: That's not true. Maliki has been warning BO since Nov of last year.
Thankfully the President has gotten rid of Bush's boy Maliki, who started this crap with the way he treated the Sunnis.
Think that's why things are headed in a better direction in Iraq-3 ?
Who did you say Voted in Maliki? Also how does this change the fact of Maliki visiting BO at the WH and asking for help in 2013? He also told BO.....that what was taking place with trying to remove Assad would spillover into Iraq. Which was concerning the MB backed Rebels. Who at that time had al Nusra as part of them.
Now.....how does that line from BO saying he didn't know anything until recently, work?
