I would like to see Colin Powell run against him. Powell would hand his butt to him. I think there is a chance of that. Powell lost his job because he stood up to Bush, and I would like to see him get the last laugh. After this election, the GOP will be deep sixing all the Bushneviks they can, and that should give Powell a foot back in the door of the party, if he wants to take the step.

Personally As a citizen with Rights I do not want to see Powell going against Obama. Because that would be right down the Republicians alley to have two Black Brothers going against each other. If anything they should be a team in the up-coming election, and it should be up to them which one will run for President or Vice President. Also since there is so much BS going on in both partys they should organize their own political group, and gain support that way. The ticket should be Colin,Obama, and Senator Ford, and call their party THE HERE & NOW.

I like Obama. He understands what is going on out there past the headlines.

Who says that a team has to consist of a single policial party? I can remember a time when the Republican party was much different than it is today. I remember true Conservatives. I remember the "big tent". I would like to see that return. It is true that Republicans have pandered to blacks, but so have Democrats. They are the ones who threw money at the problem of rascism, and merely pandered to blacks, rather than honestly addressing their problems and grievances.

Malcolm X, IMHO, was a the first American hero to declare that the black community should refuse "white man's money". I dont agree with his reasons, and I never did like being called a white devil. However, he was right about the money aspect, and he later did repudiate rascism (which is what got him killed). He has my complete respect for that.

Having said all that, I dont care what political party anyone, white, black, brown, red, yellow, green, or even purple with pink polkadots, belongs to, just as long as a true debate in America occurs. This is not happening now. The "Great Debate" is now being dominated by wedge issues, formulated for the purpose of dividing and conquoring the American people. Once the Bushneviks are gone from the Republican party, I believe that we will once again see the beginning of truly debating the issues which confront us. And in that day, I would like to think that the GOP will once again be, not only an open party, but this time open enough for Colin Powell to make his mark in.

Powell vs. Obama? Not only would that be a great race, but would also be a slap in the face of all those who do not believe that EVERY American or American vote counts. I would be very happy to see that glove smacked directly across their hateful faces. This glove would be a message that would say - "Go home now, and retire to your darkened corners of hatred, never to be seen again by man. It is all you have left, because the American people have moved on. Best wishes to you, but goodbye, and may history someday forget that you were ever an American."

Well Danarhea. I must give you a power salute for your entire post. Not only was it informative, and it was impressive and full with truth. Now something like your post is direct to the point, and as a MalcolmX follower the term white devil would fit Bush like the suit he wear. Racism and politics don't mix well at all, but as you see on here both is present, and the term can be used just like whites still call us N****ers and Monkeys.

I am one person who dislike being called a N***er or out my name peroid. I get super pissed when someone from my own race call me a N***er. I have
also backed off from racism to a certain degree (Oh by the way I am a Black Nationalist), but this election I have joined the Democratic/Independent party to see what the experience would be like, and so far I see people like Navy Pride and Stinger who is of the Elephant party who is still trying to force people to see things their way.

However I agree with the rights to vote is for everyone. Its a human rights that was fought for many years. Sure Colin & Obama is some super smart
Brothers, but to go after each other would not be cool as far as I am concern, and if it came down to making a choice I pick Obama anytime. Why?
Obama is the here and now, but Colin is a been there and did that type of individual, and Obama would bring a new meaning to politics. Again Danarhea you is right on the money.

And THAT, kiddies, is the face of the Black Nationalists...literate, isn't he?

Don't get your pants stuck in your asscrack, but a Black Nationalist is no different then a White Klansman or Skinhead. They all is entitle to vote the way they want to vote. Lets not go in that direction, but we can if another forum was created to focus on slandering and racism. Obama is whatever he choose to be, and as long as he is doing his job as a Senator he's okay with me.
