Obama refusing to protect the border as a POLITICAL PLOY?

Senator John Kyle (R, Arizona) has stated that the President told him that "[t]he problem is . . . if we secure the border, then you all won't have any reason to support comprehensive immigration reform."

IE: he is willing to hold American citizens hostage, and leave them in danger, in order to force Republicans to vote for amnesty so Democrats can try to wrangle a permanent majority.

now, i'm all in favor of politics. i like the brutal give and take. but that.... ?

that's the basic same charge that the 9/11 truthers laid at the feet of Bush; that he knew that he could move to save American lives, and chose not to, because it would help him politically.

if that's true.....

I have no idea whether this is true statement by this Senator nor in fact he was ever told this by someone in the W.H.
The premise sounds logical, certainly this Government does as does every Government in the US play politics with whatever agenda they wish to promote.
