Man, this thread is hot with hyperpartisan arguments. Why don't we just replace all that has been written with 2 pictures:

There ya' go. The arguments in this thread have now been boiled down to their lowest common denominators.

Hogwash...I never said he was Satan...just that he was a smarmy lying worthless piece of crap.

Her on the other hand...well...;)

Barb - thanks for the link on Fourth Turning. Beck really blew it in the video with his complete misinterpretation of the Tytler Cycle however. Like most things he uses, he cherry picks stuff and then totally turns it into a Frankenstein monster of the real deal. But what else is new?

And as for the links about taking away the vote, I provided a raft of them earlier.

I apologize. Shortly after I wrote that, they were talking about it on MSNBC. I honestly never heard anyone suggesting that except for on this board. It still will never happen, so don't lose any sleep. Ok? :)

if those numbers are accurate - why should they then not pay 90% of the income tax?

Why?? so that the government blow their money stupidly? We can give the government trillions and trillions of Dlls. and they will spend it like drunken sailors on stupid projects. I don't want any money from the rich, I believe in making it on my own, after all.. this is the USA where it takes will, character and ambition to get to the top, the people who don't do this is because they just want entitlements and sit on their posteriors.

Fixed that...other than that I agree with you completely!

Nobody wants to "fix it" and that's why this nation is the way it is. The government doesn't need our money, no money.. no spending. Let private enterprises handle everything that the government handles now without these outrageous pensions that every gov. worker gets, including the politicians.
Government is a taker of our own money and not a producer. example: present situation we have now.

So you don't agree with me completely for saying that the government blows taxpayers money stupidly. Right?

Here's a question for all the liberals on this board. Has a poor person ever offered any of you a job? Why then does Obama want to kill off the job creators in this country by taxing them to death? He looked like a whipped puppy on TV announcing the bipartisan agreement that was reached with Republicans on the tax cuts and unemployment extentions. He should have been celebrating. I think he's feelling the pressure from the far left wing loons in his party. "Millionaires-and-billionaires" are the job creators, not the government. I love how liberals have turned those words into just one word. :lamo

Has a rich person ever been successful without good employees? Truely? In the military they preached that an army is only as good as the lowely private. You know, the weakest link will likely break first, so a chain is only as strong as the weakest link in it.

We can do the foolish generalization thingie, but tax cuts don't make the rich offer jobs, we have studies showing that which have been posted. So, there is no need to pander to them. If they need workers, they'll hire them.

What strikes me as funny is that this is the first time Obama has reached across the aisle and put together a bill with Rs and Ds, then he rips both the Rs and Ds in his press conference.

This is a typical political move that he is famous for.

The only question here is how much pork will it take to pass the bill? Obama is the first to cash in with $56 billion in earmarks for unemployment. Who else?

No where do I say I hate the rich. Why do you hate the working person? I am merely pointing out the same silliness this person opens the thread with can be tured the other way.

And while I have no number in mind, as the rate has been much, much higher in the past than it is today, I shed no tears for anyone if we go back to the rate that was under Clinton. The poor, poor rich will still be doing well. It's not a hard concept to follow. :coffeepap

Now this should turn the stomach of any real patriotic American. The republican Party today has blocked a bill to give assistance to first responders in the 911 attacks. They will go to the mat for their tax breaks for the rich and wealthy but raise their middle finger to the men and women who responded and now have health problems from 911.

This would make Abraham Lincoln renounce the party he helped put on the map.

This one has me stumped, it makes no sense for anyone especially the flag waving patriots that the Repubs are supposed to be.

Democrats lumped this bill with another one, otherwise... this would of have passed by itself. Don't blame the Reps. but Dems. just want Reps. to look bad and they are just playing politics.
Congratulations democrats!

Everybody can work and be doing well, all they have to do is apply for all those "shovel ready" jobs that Obama talked about and said that exist.

WHAT UTTER CRAP. There was no other bill lumped in with this. That is what the Dems were attempting to prevent. At what point do you begin to see the evil of the GOP or can they do no wrong in your eyes?

I don't care how happy, or unhappy he is, he was defeated by true Americans, tax increases are the devils work, as well as the socialists, Thank god he didn't get the chance to increase taxes on us.

This is a good day for America.

Now only if those good for nothing socialist scumbag democrats in the house would bend over like the president has, we can get this great nation back on track.

Which has nothing to do with what I said. We can talk ****, or you can address the point. I guess the ball is in your court so to speak. :coffeepap

I am addressing the point but you don't want to participate. I quoted Obama on shovel ready jobs after passing the massive bail outs. So now everybody can be back to work. Those were Obama's words not mine and now you don't like it. Not my problem.

We are paying for a government that is broken. That's the botom line and learn to accept it.

I don't blame the GOP for not wanting to pass anything during the lame duck session (which is a farce) those losers want to pass crap on their way out that they had 2 years to do it in.
Wait a couple of weeks and start doing things the RIGHT, SENSIBLE and INTELLIGENT way.
