The left hypocrisy is amazing. They rant and rave and thumb their noses at the right whenever they win a Supreme Court decision but now that the Court has decided with a 4-4 decision to let a lower court ruling stand in regards to Immigration, all of a sudden Obama has decided that he is not going to obey the court's decision.

I thought he said he couldn't do any additional EO's regarding immigration because of the SCOTUS decision and the lower courts ruling? Did I miss something? I don't doubt he could do something like your saying, because IMO he has no respect for the US Constitution at all. I just haven't seen anything about it.

Checks and Balances, long as the supreme court has no opinion, they are not checking him. Regardless of what a lesser court says, if you blame Obama for exercising Executive power you gotta blame every other President. Including Lincoln, lets see how far you get criticizing Lincoln. And pretty much, unless Trump wins, either his appointee or Hillary's will tip the balance.

And unless it looks like Trump is going to win, I am not going to support making the President beholden to any judge below the Supreme Court. We don't elect federal judges, and they aren't higher than the President.
 
What was interesting about his petulant pouting yesterday was that his argument wasn't that his EO was legal. It was that to oppose it would be go take us in the wrong direction - or words to that effect. In his mind, his ideas trump the law. Total libfascist little *****.

Obama looks at the laws of the US as a cafeteria list of laws to be followed or ignored based on his own inclinations of the moment.

The most lawless administration in the history of the Republic.

It just seems very likely that anything Obama does is done with no care as to what is illegal. He knows that the press corps will give him a pass. He know the Congress is impotent.

Nixon was about to be impeached for using the power of government as a political tool.

Obama did it and went merrily about his business.

The most lawless administration in history.

Which administration do YOU think is the most lawless? I brought up Nixon because the trumped up charges about to be leveled at him have been exceeded by Obama on an almost daily basis.

Immigration?

Lack of enforcement of the Federal Drug Laws?

Selective enforcement of laws by the Feds.

Sanctuary Cities?

Using the DoJ to affect the activities of private enterprise, specifically Boeing and Gibson? Probably more. I have a full time job and am remodeling a house so I don't look at this 24-7.

The whole Failed Stimulus kick back scheme?

The Executive orders kicked back by the Supremes? I think we're up to 12 kicked back unanimously and there are others like the recent 4-4 split that is not an official rebuke. Probably more on the way.

He likes to skirt the law and cannot seem to speak to any Republican without attacking him. If he could speak to a Republican like a human being, that might allow him to actually get legislation passed instead of signing executive orders.

Is this really anything new? The 2 Unitary Executive presidents, Bush & Obama, break the law as they please. Perhaps they are inspired by Richard Nixon's claim that if the president does it, it is legal.

That is the current state of affairs in our country.

The Articles of Impeachment for Richard Nixon are now the play book for our Presidency.

Not making stuff up.

You really don't have to with the vipers that populate DC nowadays.

Whether they're cruising airport bathrooms for sex, using the Oval Office Pantry to get it or just stealing money counted by the million$ we can depend on unbridled corruption and influence peddling.

Our politicians are just engaged in a grand act of theatre intended to sedate the populace and empty the treasury.
