I'm not denying that he knows Bill Ayers. I am denying the right-wing narrative of the nature of said relationship, since there's little to no evidence to support it.
Were they pals?
"Pal around together? What does that mean? Share a milkshake with two straws?" Ayers said in his first interview since the controversy began. "I think my relationship with Obama was probably like thousands of others in Chicago. And, like millions and millions of others, I wish I knew him better."
Obama went to a party for himself in Ayers house. Why would Ayers throw him a party in his house if they were casual acquaintances?
Do you throw parties for people you don't know?
Define "pals."
Of course, Ayers' involvement in radical left activities was long in the past by the time he and Obama met in 1995, and their relationship certainly doesn't appear to be anything other than serving on the same board of directors for for a foundation and serving on a couple of panels together. Ayers himself is on record saying he barely knew Obama.
Ayers Decries GOP Tactics, Says He Is Not Close to Obama
You do when one of the co-hosts (State Sen. Alice Palmer) is introducing a potential candidate to donors in anticipation of endorsing him. Which is exactly what happened.
I'll tell you what -- Ayers didn't ghostwrite Obama's book or pay his college tuition, as some of the wingnutosphere would have you believe.
I have no idea how it was used by whoever said it. Obama is a terrible president sure, but his relationship with Ayers does not make him worse or better.
The Washington Post is the same as Fox News.
“This is not a man who sees America as you see it and how I see America. We see America as the greatest force for good in this world. If we can be that beacon of light and hope for others who seek freedom and democracy and can live in a country that would allow intolerance in the equal rights that again our military men and women fight for and die for for all of us. Our opponent though, is someone who sees America it seems as being so imperfect that he’s palling around with terrorists who would target their own country?”
Who said or is even claiming any of that?
The GOP has plenty of power to disrupt Obamacare on the state level. How many states refused to expand Medicare or set up exchanges?
So how does that keep somebody from going to the national exchange? Medicare was not an issue in expansion and in fact many billions of dollars were taken out of Medicare to fund the rest of Obama's program. And the GOP wasn't able to stop that from happening..
Medicaid, not medicare. My bad.
And how do those states that chose not to expand Medicaid affect the national exchange?
Or those states that did expand Medicaid and it isn't working?
How is that the fault of Fox News or Rush Limbaugh or the GOP?
Sarah Palin actually came up with that herself? Not bad.
NY Times blog is the same as Fox News (obviously).

Not really, but OK.
In the same ruling that showed PPACA was a new tax (on those making under 250,000 also), SCOTUS correctly argued that Medicaid expansions being forced by the Federal Government were not at all constitutional. And as such, this is the fault of Limbaugh and the GOP together.
Medicaid expansions weren't forced by the Federal Government. They were opt-in, and many Republican states didn't opt-in (or create their own exchanges). Now, why is that?
They were before the ruling. If you do not expand Medicaid we will remove prior funding, it's in the same ruling.
Because it literally raises their costs of running their governments.
The Federal government picks up the tab.
They push a lot more people onto the exchanges, for one.
Example?
It's the GOP governors/legislatures who are refusing to expand Medicaid or set up their own exchanges.
I hate this source, but here's an analysis of the states that will benefit most from Obamacare. Suprise! It's the states that expanded Medicaid.
Study: Medicaid Expansion Key Factor in Obamacare Effects - US News and World Report
"It seems like there will be benefits in the short term, and one of the main drivers of the extent to which states will benefit is their decision on Medicaid expansion," says John Kiernan, the study's primary author. "There just seems to be a ton of free money essentially coming from the federal government from the states that do expand Medicaid."
Take Oregon as an example. Results there abysmal so far or they were the last time I looked a week or so ago.
And from your link:
"Free money?" Where in the heck does he think 'free money' comes from? Who provides that 'free money'? We are already hundreds of billions of dollars over $17 trillion in debt and the debt clock runs faster every single day. Meanwhile millions have lost their jobs, lost their doctors, and lost their affordable healthcare coverage while millions of others have seen their healthcare premiums doubled and tripled. And the exchanges at the federal and state levels aren't helping much.
And this is the GOP's fault? Rush Limbaugh's fault? Fox News fault? It is because some states, with SCOTUS's blessings I might add, opted out of a system they could not justify and could not afford? Only the most brainwashed Obama supporter could even begin to believe that.
There's a whole forum devoted to this particular issue; let's discuss it there rather than hijack the thread.
And I also never said that all of the problems with the ACA are all the GOP's fault.

You're mixing arguments. I never once said that anything with the ACA was Rush or Fox's fault, except for some of the initial public perceptions of things like the death panel lie. And I also never said that all of the problems with the ACA are all the GOP's fault. Maybe you'd be better served actually reading what I post before accusing me of making arguments I never made.
It was smart of you to drop your medicaid claim.
The problems of PPACA can only be attributed to democrats, since no republicans voted for the bill to be put into law.
