Thats a pretty stupid comment. Care to offer ANY indicator where I have not been appropriately critical of the Bush administration? Or for that matter supportive of several of Obamas terror responses?
You cant fix what was ****ed up til you know who ****ed up, how, and why. And right now...we know precisely jack and dammit about any of the details as to who what and why. Even Hillary said "some people in the state department" recieved memos, recieved requests, participated in reports, particopated in decision making processes". Some people...but doesnt know who...and cant say what. It's not actually, as I wasn't attacking the article, but rather the idea people shouldn't be allowed to question. Good try though, I'm sure it made you feel good when you typed it.
Yes, thanks to "Kerry noted that administration officials have testified at eight hearings on Benghazi, provided 20 briefings on the subject and turned over to Congress some 25,000 documents related to the killings."
Americans were killed. It was awful. But let's worry more about doing what needs to be done to prevent it from happening again.
Just what EXACTLY do you think happens in these situations? Do you think the State Department sat on their hands for 3 months and only received one transmission which said there only place which could be attacked on September 11th was Benghazi and then said, "Nah, I don't care"? You know as well as I do these people likely sift through thousands of intelligence pieces, and you know as well as I do our law enforcement prevents many many would be attackers. Yes, sometimes things get missed and it's tragic when it happens. But I think things need to be kept in proper perspective.
But this story isn't about any of that. This story is not about finding ways to better protect Americans. This story is just another way to try and fan the flames of Obama hate, because Republican voters want to believe there's a chance to remove the Democrat from office with disgrace. That's what this is.

Common theme in the current administration. "It wasnt me..."
And the ones that ignored the warnings about 9/11/01.
There wasn't suffiicient evidence to take action in any of these cases. But don't let that stop you from partisan attacks.
I suppose that attempt on the British ambassador's life and their subsequent removal of him for Libya wasn't a big enough red flag.

I did. You are doing your typical blind ignore duck and cover for the administration and your oh so clever counter response was I did the same with the Bush administration. And all you have to do now is offer some sort of proof I was less than critical of Bush. Considering I left the GOP over Bush's lack of fiscal responsibility and have been pretty open about foreign policy failures including (and especially) post war ops in both Afghanistan and Iraq that have prolonged our presence there and cost lives...good luck. Or better yet...stick with your stellar debate tactics.Well, if you want an intelligent comment, give one. Stupid comments beget stupid comments.
Not surprised, but get ready for the bots to attack everything from the source, to ultimately, whistleblowers themselves...

So, if nobody tells you that you have the flu, you must be healthy. No wonder health care is so expensive. We simply must tell the doctors to quit telling people they're sick. You're right that we don't know what happened. That hardly makes it a smoking gun if we don't know.
Not really, no. That doesn't mean there would be an attack on the consulate in Benghazi. 2+2 =/= 5.

No...it makes it at least extraordinarily incompetent, absolutely neglectful, and borderline criminal THAT we still dont know and that no one has bothered to find out. but that has been this administrations standard. Gosh...we dont know WHO ****ed up. It wasnt me. I didnt know. Did you know? Gosh no...heck...Why should I know? Im just in charge of the State Department, DoJ, WH. Why should I know who is conducting international operations under my watch? You're right that we don't know what happened. That hardly makes it a smoking gun if we don't know.

And yet...you made the positive assertion. Which means you just made a stupid comment. Got it.Prove you weren't? Can't prove a negative. Thought you knew that.
And the IED that was used at our consulate's front gate five days before
the attack on the British Ambassador? Just some kids having fun?
No that was right wing Tea Party Christian Extremist.
They did that.
Well, it seems clear to me that you are well aware of the well deserved reputation of your source. Just because you quote the biggest liar in the business and predict that someone is going to say that you cannot rely on their information does not make what they said true. However, you are quite astute in recognizing the obvious that faux news is a bunch of liars who no one with a brain trusts.

My point was that lack of knowledge is no reason to think everything is fine. Part of the reason we don't have all the facts is that the current administration has not been forthcoming with it. There may be some reasons why the administration doesn't want to reveal the whole enchilada, and some of them may be understandable. But whatever caused the Ambassador to be in Benghazi aside, our presence there was compromised and the Ambassador along with others were killed. We want to know why they died. It's pretty simple, and not a witch hunt. The more the administration stonewalls, the more suspicious I am that there be witches involved. No, it means that if you have the sniffles, it doesn't mean you have a fatal disease.
We don't have all the facts, that doesn't mean crucifixions are in order.

How about that intelligence reports from both our own and other intelligence agencies that Benghazi was becoming a hot bed of militant activities?
It even got so bad that the militants held the "First Annual Conference of Supporters of Shariah" in Benghazi in June of 2012.
That right there would be cause to increase security. Not decrease it.
