The man just can't enforce the law.President Obama’s marquee deportation amnesty has been stalled by the courts, but the rest of his executive actions on immigration, announced exactly a year ago, are moving forward — including his move protecting more than 80 percent of illegal immigrants from any danger of deportation.
The amnesty, dubbed Deferred Action for Parental Accountability was supposed to grant full tentative legal status — including work permits, Social Security numbers and driver’s licenses — to more than 4 million illegal immigrants. It has been halted by a federal appeals court, and its fate will soon rest with the Supreme Court.
But the rest of the dozen actions Mr. Obama announced on Nov. 20, 2014, are still advancing, including a far-reaching set of priorities that effectively orders agents not to bother deporting nearly all illegal immigrants

This is what makes me sick about stupid Americans that still can't figure out that there's a dimes thickness of difference between the two parties and how blind partisans on both the right and left are.
Reagan, Bush Also Acted Without Congress To Shield Immigrants From Deportation
No conservative was happy with Bush's inaction on immigration. Don't get a delusion that we supported that poor performance under Bush. He also spent too much.

Like I said, No difference. Anyway, I was just stopping bull**** before it got started and turned into 30 pages of bashing Obama for the same thing that Reagan/Bush did. Nice try though.
Obama is nothing but a tyrannical a$$hole. A worthless unamerican POS who thinks he is above the law.
Maybe you should peruse the archives, and see for yourself. Some of us spoke out on the lack of border security.

Whatever, the conservative I know ever praised Bush's border policy. Securing the border is a conservative principle, and Bush was horrible.Well then, first of all you went from "no" conservatives to "some" so thanks for that back peddle, secondly, the some of you with your whispering complaints were ineffective. So, like I said, there's a dimes difference in the two parties but I'm sure you'll continue to pretend that the porous border is all Obama's fault and ignore that the god of conservatism and the dolt, did the SAME ****ING THING. maybe someday Americans will grow up. And I say that, because the partisans on the left do the same bull**** that you do, you'll see them start a thread everyday and criticize a republican for doing the same thing that democrats do. That's why you partisans are part of the problem, whine and complain about it when the other party does it, ignore it when your own does. IOW, since Reagan and Bush are both guilty of doing the same thing you were going to come in here and bash Obama for, you should have just been moot on it.

Obama doesn't automatically get a pass because Bush was an idiot. Bush was an idiot, Obama is an idiot. The issue is still the same. I didn't like it when Bush did it either.
Well, nevermind that not a single one of my posts gives Obama a pass for not securing our borders, that's your little straw man. News flash alert. Americas borders have never been secure, and as long as big business isn't interested in secure borders, they never will be, and both parties pander to big business. So, when you want to be constructive, and actually effect border security, stop voting for establishment politicians.

Looks like you did to me. So much for that "strawman" thing you are complaining bout.
The federal government isn't going to do anything about illegal immigration. Another of the numerous reasons the federal government is too powerful. It has power to do things it shouldnt, and also the ability to ignore what it wants. The states should be able to act on their own. The only thing an individual state should not be able to do is enter into conflict with a foreign power. I think they should be able to police their own borders for illegal immigration.
Did what to you. That post was addressed to American who was coming in here all partisan. Care to address the fact that both parties have FAILED to secure our borders, or you going to stay in the partisan corner too, hmm?
Bush was an idiot, Obama is an idiot.
True, but the real problem is that big business sets our border policy. Guess where big businesses might move to if Texas started actually securing its border.
The Obama Administration has the highest deportation rate of illegals of any president in history. Barack Obama, deporter-in-chief | The Economist
Of course, anything less than ripping apart practically every hispanic family in the country won't be good enough for the xenophobic right.
A lot of these illegal immigrants aren't going to work. Many of them are not doing a damn thing. Did you read recently that a lot of the Mexicans who were here working actually are going back to Mexico? Because theyve been laid off here, our economy stinks.
