I think Vern's saying that the White house doesn't have any control over the CIA and their operations. They are some sort of rogue agency that operate independently. The Secretary of State wouldn't have any idea what operation the CIA's conducting out of an annex down the street.

And I think that statement is bull crap. Who have been the directors of the CIA since Hayden, Panetta, Morell (Acting Director) , Petraeus, Morell (Acting Director)? Now Brennan. Who is really running the show at the CIA? Do you really believe they are a rogue agency or an agency commanded to be rogue by the President? Are you really that naïve to believe that the State Dept. is not the co-conspirator in espionage throughout the world with the CIA?

What's funny is that your a partisan apologist denying the gun running (something the O admin. Has domestic experience with as well) from the Benghazi annex through Turkey to the al Qaida insurgents in Syria.

Everyone knows that the administration sought to openly intervene militarily in Syria and was shut down at every turn by the Chinese and Russians at the UN.

Second, please compare that to the rosy projections for Iraq. See you once again have to complain about an imaginary democrat thing to ignore an actual pub thing.
