The Democratic Party is hemorrhaging voters long before they even go to the polls.
Of the 30 states that track voter registration by political party, Democrats lost ground to Republicans in every single one between the 2020 and 2024 elections — and often by a lot.
That four-year swing toward the Republicans adds up to 4.5 million voters, a deep political hole that could take years for Democrats to climb out from. [emphasis added]
Why do you think that the Democrat [sic] Party is shrinking?
And yet the republicans are heading for a cliff in the midterms. Why do you suppose that is?New York Times Shock Study: ‘The Death Cycle of the Democratic Party’

Among its findings:

Why do you think that the Democrat Party is shrinking?
Is it because of cultural issues or because of policy issues.
Is because of Wokeness and DEI?
Part of woke is calling it the “Democrat Party.” Use its real name, as the Times did, if you want to be taken seriously.New York Times Shock Study: ‘The Death Cycle of the Democratic Party’

Thanks, I did note see itThere's already a thread on this subject.
The Democratic party is hemorrhaging registered Democrats, that is. The really bad news for Democrats is the Republican party is gaining more registered Republicans. The source for this claim is an analysis published today by the New York Times. I found the analysis so startling that at the end of the following quote the link is gifted to make it accessible for those interested. I hope you read, reflect, comment and debate its merits.

Not sure what 'swing' you think you see."That four-year swing toward the Republicans adds up to 4.5 million voters"
That is from the NYTNot sure what 'swing' you think you see.

Yes. That way we can all stop being deluded- and go chasing after cat eating Haitians, cancer causing wind turbines, secret Kenyan birth certificates, genocidal S Africans, trickle down economics, autism-causing vaccines, and other such odds and ends together. Yay not being deluded! The only demographic left for them are deluded trans activists and crazy white liberal women. Also, beta men.
That is from the NYT
No we dont. I am a democrat who belongs to the Democratic Party. Just Google the topic “why do republicans call it the Democrat Party. The childish insult has been around for years. I suppose that we could respond by calling it “the republic party” or the Grand Out-of-touch-Party.but why do the Democrats call it the Democrat Party all of the time?

I have been a registered Independent (unaffiliated) for many years.This. ^
I actually just did this when I renewed my driver's license this summer, I'm registered Independent now. I didn't realize it was a trend but I guess it is.
I sure AS SHIT am not voting for Vance in 28, I can say that much, LOL
The Democrat Party's hate, racism, violence, fanaticism and corruption alienates the mainstream voters.Yep. The democrats are just not reading the room. They are not going to win another election in this country until they learn to be more openly and proudly bigoted and anti-science like Republicans. That's just the reality of where this country is these days.
You know, I have heard this a thousand times, and yet reporters and politicians still say democratNo we dont. I am a democrat who belongs to the Democratic Party. Just Google the topic “why do republicans call it the Democrat Party. The childish insult has been around for years. I have been a registered Independent (unaffiliated) for many years.
And I have at times voted for a Republican candidate.
But since the MAGA cult takeover of the Republican party I will not vote for any Republican be it at the local, state, or federal level.
I hope, and believe, that the 2026 midterms are going to be a very rude awakening for the MAGAs.Same.
One day, after Taco shuffles off this mortal coil and goes to that great big McDonald's in the sky, and MAGA disintegrates because they have no weird, rambling liar to make up shit that they need to believe in lockstep, maybe...maybe I'll consider voting Republican again. If MAGA has been replaced by anything even loosely sane and non-authoritarian. But honestly? After ten years of this shit I doubt it. I don't think I'll ever trust the GOP again.
