Pete, I think you should discuss that with YouTube, not me.
YouTube doesn't make the videos, they just provide storage and access to them. The video at the OP was probably made by Jim Hoft.

Could be, could be... Do you think Hoft edited the video like NBC has done seven times?

Can you prove NBC edited video seven times? The one with Rep. Pete Sessions is bogus, it was edited for brevity.

Let me qualify that statement. NBC has been found to selectively edit video and audio. In fact, NBC News is already being sued over one instance involving George Zimmerman. I guess you close your eyes and ears everytime NBC airs their selectively edited bytes.

You are getting way off your own topic. However, i will agree that this looks even worse for Obama. This is bad in a few ways. First they made a huge issue out of this guys importance, and it is like tossing gasoline on the fire. They look desperate and afraid of what he says, and they are giving importance and confirmation to his words when they say what he is saying is dangerous because it is the truth and that helps out our enemies. Even in the CIA propaganda piece zero dark thirty they said that terrorists were smart enough to try to avoid casual mention of their activities on easily monitored technology. No duh. The big bad guys know to watch out for spying and tapping. The people who do not are regular people who trust the government too much.

Now the administration looks impotent. They cannot catch this guy and they now have julian assange popping back into the public eye which is another area they failed to destroy a whistle blower. If snowden gets away to a foreign country and gets asylum it will just show others that they do have an out. To inspire fear that they will catch you and destroy you for exposing their secrets they have to catch you and destroy you like bradley manning. If they fail they just expose the method a whistle blower needs to use to escape.

Then you have the public perception problem tainting our entire government who has not been able to get around it's own gridlock and infighting to help the people, but when they are caught harming people they are all about working together. If this doesn't shake your trust in both parties you either have no trust or are a blind sycophant.

In the end little of this matters. There will be no choices outside of the established faux bipartisan power structure to vote for in the next elections. Impeach Obama and you have biden. You can say vote for republican next time, but who do you think made this possible? You have people much more concerned about 2 dudes marrying or the status of a fetus than the government spying on them. The news is demonizing a revelation that should be even bigger than watergate. You have people calling for the hanging of one of the only people willing to be a witness against the government. As americans we should be calling for an open trial and congressional hearings to expose this. Snowden and his testimony should be protected and only upon perjury should he be prosecuted for his exposure of something so overwhelmingly outside of american values and law. Instead he has surrendered his lifestyle, his freedom in the world, his reputation, his job, his family, and his reputation for a bunch of ungrateful american people who are being wrongfully spied upon and potentially prosecuted on basic rights of freedom of speech and the press. We should be thanking him and supporting him for giving up so much to tell us that the government is treating law abiding citizens like terrorists.

This didn't begin with Obama, and it doesn't stop with Obama. We should all be waking up and uniting around that fact.

The whole reaction from the US government has been bizaare. They just got busted spying on their allies, and now they are making threats to those same nations ordering them to send him back.

Let's consider the situation in reverse: Chinese IT guy turns up the US with a whole trove of definitive evidence of China spying on the US. China immediately says "if you don't send him back to face punishment, it will severely undermine your commitment to the rule of law". Everyone would burst out laughing, no?
