Kinda looks like pResident tRumps toady/ Devin Nunes installed a fake Ukraine expert in the white house to fool tRrump into thinking he was expert on Ukraine. I wonder what's behind that?

The decorated Army officer who testified to House investigators on Tuesday told lawmakers that a close associate of Republican Rep. Devin Nunes “misrepresented” himself to President Donald Trump in an effort to involve himself further in Ukraine policy, according to two people familiar with his closed-door deposition. Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the National Security Council’s top Ukraine expert, told lawmakers that after attending Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s inauguration in May as part of a delegation led by Energy Secretary Rick Perry, Vindman had been looking forward to debriefing Trump and giving a positive account of Zelensky’s vision for Ukraine’s future.
Story Continued Below.

“The U.S. government policy community’s view is that the election of Zelenskyy and the promise of reforms to eliminate corruption will lock in Ukraine’s Western-leaning trajectory, and allow Ukraine to realize its dream of a vibrant democracy and economic prosperity,” Vindman said in his opening statement.

Alexander Vindman continues to rant that HE is the president when it comes to Ukraine and how dare the president not turn over the White House to him! The guy is a loose-cannon-on-the-deck lunatic, and a very dangerous one.

Anyone on the security counsel incessantly attacking the Commander In Chief, with him ranting HE is who should be president in regards to Ukraine it a seditious traitor and maniac literally demanding HE replaces elective government.

FIRE HIM!

Vindman has never ranted, and he's never asserted what youi're claiming.

Why do you promote a Marxist USA?

Wonder if the good Lt Col went to work today......awkward!

It looks like they found the 'smoking gun.' Should've known Nunes was behind all this.

Nunes deserves to be drawn and quartered....but a house censure for the rest of his term will suffice.

I don’t know which is worse. That a know-nothing was installed to pour poison into the President’s ear or that career officials and experts who knew better thought the President shouldn’t know the truth.

Are you referring to Vindman? Because he was excluded from the briefings lest he might shed a positive light on Ukraine.

Yes, and according to him that decision was made by people who know better such as Fiona Hill. And this really adds a new dimension to all of this. We have people, such as Fiona Hill, testifying about how concerned they were about this shadow policy and Vindman saying that he was prevented from telling the President the truth by her among others. People who testified that they had deep reservations about what was going on are now implicated in at best complicity and at worst participation in preventing the President from learning the truth.

I think Trump is responsible because it was his behavior that created an atmosphere of fear that prevented anyone from telling him what he didn't want to hear...even if it was the truth.

His behavior was driven by lies told to him by someone known to be an imposter by career experts who not only failed to inform the President of the truth but actively prevented others from doing so. If what Vindman is saying is true then you should have no doubt about their culpability in all of this. And hostile or not, I’m sure Trump would be interested in knowing that Nunes is trying to fit him with puppet strings.

I disagree. Trump showed the same behavior during the 2016 campaign and a lot of people thought he would be different once he assumed office. Boy, were they wrong.

The only people that are culpable are those that went along willingly with Trump's illegal conspiracy to find dirt on Biden and helped try to bring it to fruition. IE: Giuliani, Sondland, Volker, Perry, Pence, Nunez, Patel...and anyone else who is trying to cover up for him.

The Democrats in Congress are being truly absurd. They've totally lost it.

They are calling "witnesses" whose only testimony is that they furiously and intensely oppose Trump's foreign policy on Ukraine - claiming that is grounds for impeachment. How absurd.

Bottomline Fact:

Obama and Clinton gave Russia ALL of Ukraine's Crimea and Eastern Ukraine. President Trump gave Russia nothing of Ukraine. Therefore, on behalf of Putin and Russia, the Democrats in Congress now claim Trump should be impeached because blocking Russia occupying all of the rest Ukraine violates the policy goals of the Democratic Party and warhawks. The only testimony of this witness is that he intensely opposes Trump's policies on Ukraine - while he was fine with Obama giving Russia Crimea and Eastern Ukraine.

^ That is how bizarrely corrupt and absurd the Democrats in Congress now are acting. Not giving Ukraine to Russia as the Democratic President was not grounds for impeachment. It comes down to that.

^ Of course none of that is relevant to most progressive (fascist) Democrats because as Joe Biden said, they "don't accept facts," they only accept what Democrat party bosses and the MSM/press owned by the richest corporations and people on earth order them to accept as the truth about Trump. Listening to facts is not tolerated in the Democratic Party.

I defer to your obvious expertise in absurdity.

Now that it is clear that the GOP has no case whatsoever, I guess we’ll have to put up with this sort of absurd pablum from Trumpsters from here on.

It’s pretty pathetic.

Almost as pathetic as Trump bellowing that the GOP should be focusing on substance, when they all know that the facts are against Trump (by his own admission).

Hopefully this will drag out for a year or more where we can use it to kick the repugs in the Senate as well perp walk tRump outta and gang outta the oval office.:2wave:

Or because President Trump was not willing to give what is left of Ukraine after what Obama gave to Russia.

I bet he didn't send anyone "letters of deep concern" over President Obama giving Russia ALL of Ukraine's Crimea and Eastern Ukraine. He sounds like a well selected and groomed Russian agent.

I defer to your expertise on what a well selected and groomed Russian agent might sound like.
