Hi all,

My name is Dan, I just found this forum, and thought I'd chime in and see which way the wind blows here.

As a Virginia voter, I'll be at the polls early on Nov. 7, and I'll be checking the box next to every Democratic candidate on the ballot.

I am not a Democrat, in fact I voted for Ronald Reagan twice.
But, the Republican stranglehold on our Government MUST be stopped.

The Bush regime is undoubtedly the worst administration ever to lead this country. At this crucial time in our nation's history we needed brilliant leadership, instead we got an obsessive compulsive political hack. January 09 can't get here soon enough.

But November 06 is right around the corner, and this will be the country's chance to slap GW upside the head and say, "We're tired of your lies, your mis-management, your political hackery. Now sit down, shut up and try not to screw anything else up before we can get your replacement here."

Of course the diehard Repubs will vote Red as always, mindlessly following Bush and his cronies, with no regard to what's best for the nation.
But, the rest of us need to get to the polls in November, and do what has to be done - TAKE CONGRESS AWAY FROM BUSH.

Any comments?

REmember the talking points of "Ben and Jerry"? they told their lefty followers that when these people write letters to the papers or post on chat boards to claim to be republicans or conservatives rather than DU or DailyKos moonbats so their anti Bush rants in 04 would appear more credible

I think that is why Navy Pride denies being a Republican too.

I don't know who he thinks he's fooling though.

Bill O'Reilly does that too.

I remember them well my friend

I’m in Virginia’s 8th district. My choices for congressman are someone who thinks because they were an army captian last year they should go to congress, and some guy who said jews were behind the war in Iraq. Try to figure out which one belongs to which party!

And then for senate I have a sadist with simian cranial capacity George Allen, and his counterpart, Webb, who seems to be a delusional narcissist.

Democracy sucks.

O and by the way, Iran is a democracy.

Iran was a democracy in 1952 also, but the US didnt like Mossadegeh, who was the elected leader, so they overthrew that government and installed the Shah, who was so viscious he made even Saddam look like a boy scout.

Do they hate OUR freedoms, or do they hate our destroying THEIR freedoms?

Wadda ya think about that Turtle Dude? :rofl

I agree that I might be a little liberal on any given day. The good part of liberal. But on any other given day, I am considered by most thinking people to be as conservative as well. I am right of center to left of center. I have the ability to fluctuate, depending on the issue, in order to be on the correct side of any particular issue. You oughta give it a try Herr Navy. Some might admire your loyal partisanship and consistancy. I mean, we have known you to be wrong on a Monday and pretty much can count on you being wrong on Tuesday as well. I suppose there's something to be said for that. What? I don't know but something I suppose. Myself, I find it hard to admire ignorance even if it does display consistancy. But that's just me.

But you, my communist (not to be offensive, just referring to political ideology much like you calling me a liberal) friend, consider anyone left of Hitler a liberal so your words do not carry much weight around here. You do realize that don't you?

During the cold war, when we were students, we were indoctinated on the evils of communism and what they stood for.

From everything I have seen coming from you, both past and present, you appear to adhere to those principles we were taught to fear.

Although cloaked in patriotism and old glory, to me, you represent the face of communism as we were taught it to be. Appearantly 90 plus percent of the posters here, as well as other sites I have seen you pollute, seem to agree.
