Va's governor caught some heat over his comments about allowing moms to abort/kill newborns, whom may ot may not be viable earlier this week. Well it now appears the Democratic governor is caught up in a little black face racism. He is being identified as the person allegedly in blackface in a 1984 medical school yearbook. While I'm curious to hear his response, I also have a hard time imagining what kind of explanation could make this okay. 1984? That doesn't squeak by the "it was a different time" test. I remember that the Marx Brothers did black face in Marx Brothers at the Circus, which came out in 1939, and that was probably the "squeak by" date.

On a slightly different note, I'd just like to point out that the school editorial staff saw that picture and said, "Yup, let's include that."
